I would love nothing more than for Mark "Haka Death Hands" Hunt to bring the Ruckus, but Mir probably gets a submission.

Hunt has strong takedown defense and Mir has bad takedowns. The fight will be contested on the feet.

I think Mir doesn't have the mobility/footwork to keep Hunt at distance by using his superior reach. Hunt can explode forwards faster than Mir can get out of the way, meaning Frank will have to eat a few shots. Frank's chin is not that good while Hunt's power is among the greatest in the sport.

Frank Mir is my favorite heavyweight, but most likely this will be another (T)KO loss for him.

I legitimately think this fight is 50/50.

I can see a sloppy decision gasfest win for either guy, a KO loss for either guy, and a submission win for Mir.

Mir underrated hands, Hunt underrated ground and takedown defense. Mir has the ability to get Hunt to the ground. He took down Arlovski, Overeem, and Roy. Arlovski statistically has some of the best TDD ever or something.

Too fucking close to call. Maybe the tiniest fucking edge to Mir because Hunt is 41 years old.

I love both these guys. But, the power that Hunt has is scary. If Mir can escape the first round, or two. His chances go up greatly, imo. Possibly a sub, or decision.

But, I see Hunt landing a bomb in round 1. And that's where it ends.
