I beat Bayle, Messmer, and the super Tree Sentinal. The second time I beat Bayle super easy. He barely fought back.

I beat Messmer in 2 tries. I've been trying to make his weapon work. I maxed it out and damage seems weak. 1k damage on the throw.

The super Tree Sentinal was the hardest boss I encountered so far. I fought him on foot though. Gaius I think was his name. Took me a handful of tries. I like his weapon. Gravity infused lance.

I love how they see Sony and think Playstation straight away instead of Sony Corp

That's big if it comes off not just for games just due to Kadokawa's anime / Manga divisions to go along side what Sony already have. Especially as its a lot of IP that can be used for games or vice versa Playstation IPs used for other mediums

I wonder if they make a separate entity in SIE for those game studios to go next to PS Studios like Bungie originally was.

Got to lvl 132 now

I'm trying to kill the fire giant

I'm at the Midra boss fight. He's whipped my ass twice. Getting to him was the hardest part of the game or most frustrating. Those Winter Lanterns (Bloodborn monsters) were fucking me up. I quit playing for like a week because of them. I only landed parries by pure luck and button mashing. I'm on New Game+ and those monsters respawn. All the info I've read says they don't respawn but they do. I don't know what I did to trigger it but they don't stay dead.

I switched back to my Red Baron Supreme build and I'm going to whip Midra who is a super cool boss by the way.

The makers who created this game are too creative. Who would have ever thought to make Midra? The Winter Lanterns are weird looking badguys too.

Whipped him on the first try with the dual twinblades.

I think it's s the strongest build until you run into a stone or heavily armored guy. I use dual Bloody Great Stars for those enemy types.

That's my Genghis Khan build

Starlight Katana and Rivers of Blood

Raging Wolf Helm
Ronin's Armor
Fire Prelate Gauntlets
Fire Prelate Greaves

Ritual Sword Talisman
Shard of Alexander
Millicent's Prosthetic
Godskin Swaddling Cloth

This is what I use when I'm just playing thru a dungeon or exploring or doing basic things. If I can kill the bosses with this build, I use it.. If not, I pull out my dual Twinblades or Great Stars. I think the Starlight Katana is the best Katana because of it's Ash of War. It's like a light saber and gives you a nice Star Wars flippity combo. I'd like to have 2 of them.

I feel like I can't use big strength weapons anymore. All the FromSoft games I've ever played were with strength builds until I reached New Game+ on Elden Ring and switched to Dexterity/Arcane. Now I've added intelligence to the build.

I can only dual wield dexterity weapons though.

After I beat this playthru, I'm going full Sorcerer Supreme on Elden Ring and I'm going to run nothing but spells and incantations and dragon attacks. I'm going to try Nanaya's Torch, Dragon Communion Seal, and I haven't chosen a staff yet.

On my second playthrough after my first being at launch. Intended to do a moon veil build, but ever since I put ice spear on a cross naginata I am wrecking everything in my path.

This DLC is a nightmare slog.. Shit is so hidden on the map.. And I'm the type, if I see something interesting, I try to kill it..

There's a Giant Wickerman standing infront of a bridge in a little spot.. I can't kill him because of the little spot he is standing in..

I feel like I figured out how to make strength weapons even stronger.. I switched my Great Maces to Occult from Heavy.. They do way more damage. Just 1 L1 attack with my build.. Over 2K damage

My strength is only at 60 though.

My original build that I had in my head is going to beat my dexterity build.

I call this the Dough Boy

Pure tank.

Helm of Solitude
Fire Prelate Armor (Altered)
Fire Prelate Gauntlets
Fire Prelate Greaves

Dual Occult infused Great Maces

Dragoncrest Shield Talisman +1
Pearldrake Talisman +1
Godskin Swaddling Cloth
Ritual Sword Talisman

He's strong against physical and non physical attacks. Does strong damage.

I could reset and make him perfect. I might do that now.. Get his stats perfect.

I killed the Wicker Man on that the little peninsula. Then I killed Rumina Saint of the Buds. She was a cool boss but way too easy. I steamrolled her with my dual Occult Maces..

I beat the Wicker Man with the Maces. I'm hitting a little over 3k damage now. I don't know if that's a lot for yall but it's a lot for me.

The Maces are my favorite weapons in any FromSoft game they're in. Even the small Mace.

I've got 2 maxed out small Morning Stars I want to try out

I hope I'm not going towards Radahn.. I'm in some castle right past Rumina.. I want to beat everything, then beat Radahn.

I'm replaying the game again on the ps5 on a different psn account. Stuck on the tree sentinel turns out I should fight him at level 20 and I'm level 7 lol. But I swear I'm gonna beat him at level 7. I wasted too much time to end up quitting now.

I found a spot where a bunch of friendly animals are chillin.. They aren't scared of me. They're just sitting there chillin. Underground in the Cerulean Coast

Speaking of Cerulean Coast, that place is amazing. Beautiful.. The visuals of the landscape. I don't want to spoil it because it blew my mind when I came out of the cave and saw Cerulean Coast. By far my favorite place in any FromSoft game to date.

I beat the bastard. Got him down to last quarter and cheesed him with daggers. I'm playing buckler shield this run, it's alot of fun.

Who will donate some items to a fellow sherbro? I can't be bothered to grind for them. I want them from the start.

I need the Miséricorde and the dagger talisman for my parry build.

I'm on ps5

Buckler = Parry City.

<{jackyeah}>

people actually parry in elden ring? i dont know about you guys but i just go full rollie pollie. the only use i have for a shield is to throw the great turtle shell on my back to gain the stamina regen passive while two handing my main weapon.

You got to parry the Winter Lanterns. Nothing else works. Those guys have a 1 hit kill move if you miss the parry.

I had to parry those bastards.. First time I ever used parries in a FromSoft game. Those Winter Lanterns respawn in New Game+

I'll probably never fight Midra again because of those Winter Lanterns. I've seen the battle, I've got his Rememberance. There's no reason to ever go back to the Abyssal Forrest. That zone made me take a break from Elden Ring for like a week. Those Winter Lanterns are bullshit
