Got through the tutorial cave and now Im literally just wandering around dying a lot, got killed by a dude on a gold horse and a buncha big ass birds
I did manage to find a trader, sold a gold rune so that I could buy a crafting kit, seemed like the right move to make at the moment
Thats about all I managed so far lol

Started my new character today. Picked Samurai as my starting class.
Haven't done much yet. Used the soldiers vs doggo fight to AFK farm to level 35.
I've got the starter katana but I'm thinking about just using the Bloodhound Fang also and decent bows to level up?

I like the combat in ER but it's not the draw for me. Still hoping for some meaty DLC.

Probably won't happen but i was hoping for the Colosseums to also be used for PVE content such as enemy gauntlet challenges and boss rushes.

Avoid the dude on the gold horse for a while. He's a complete dick.

This reads oxymoronic to me, DK. Miyazakian titles are unequal parts combat and storytelling with excessive warring being the way to most flavor texts, fragmented dialogues, and such that any story is told through. Is this the only title you've played from Hidetaka?

Haven't touched the game since getting 100% months ago but I randomly had an itch to reinstall it and start a fresh playthrough.

I'm thinking of going for a strength build this time. Any weapons/ashes someone can suggest?

How's a 40 str 40 dex build work? I was thinking that would give me plenty of weapon options but I don't want to gimp my damage too much.

Im still in the beginning, just got to the outside of the first castle, but it seems to be running fine so far, no noticeable glitches or freezing, fought a cave full of wolves and they moved a bit weird but I dont know if thats a console issue or just the way they were booked, game does look pretty ugly though, Im sure it looks amazing on the new gen compared to this

The 40/40 “quality” build is not as good as in the Dark Souls trilogy from what I’ve heard. You may want to just invest in one or the other.

Cool probably just go Dex. I'm thinking dual Twinblades with some Frost, Fire, and Bleed goodness. Also planning on using a bow since I haven't messed with them in this game

Nobody cares about Elden Ring, we want news on Bloodborne demake DLC or Bloodborne Kart DLC.
