Man I might just get this on PC just to play early....

I have an RTX 3090 FE, which should bruteforce a lot of shit, and run it smoothly.

Buy a PS5 copy down the line.
Honestly I might get a PS5 copy too

anyway the Launch trailer is here

Kinda spoilery; seems like end game content is in it, but Im just guessing

I rarely pre-order, but I do trust some publishers like From and Santa Monica. I pre-ordered Returnal but I believe the reviews were out by then. And it was so close to the PS5 launch that I wanted something next gen. Wasn’t disappointed there.

Never ever watch a launch trailer. They’re basically made to grab people sitting on the fence by revealing the coolest shit from the game. I think it’s time to go dark. No YouTube for like a month either. Scumbags and their final boss thumbnails

I have a feeling multiple endings were shown in that trailer. From what Ive seen it seems very similar to a Fromsoft ending aesthetically, but some major bosses werent shown in the trailer like Malenia, Margit and Goddrick, so I think we're good on the final boss content

legit me when I saw the notif. lol
What are your thought?
Think its my second favourite Fromsoft trailer. Basically perfect, wouldve used more orchestral music but the art direction is stunning. The use of blues, gold, red, purple are all magnificent. Id say what stood out most were the environments and visual fidelity.

That trailer was just awesome. The thundering music, electric gameplay; curious cinematics and just more of the Elden Ring world.

I do wish this was out next month.. I am really enjoying HFW

Trailer was great. Can't wait for this. Looks like I'll be staying up late on Thursday to play it first thing. Thought about getting the PC version my PC can certainly handle it but I'll wait for the PS version. I would be waiting for my son to go to bed anyways so just another hour wait after that.

Yeah i think i'll be staying out of this thread for a while. I trust some to not spoil, but others will get giddy and post something without thinking.
Same, I’m also not going to get to play much until Saturday at the earliest.

Im gonna wait for the reviews, if its optimised well for PC, Ill nab it on PC first [also play it earlier on Thursday]. Otherwise its the physical PS5 version for me.
Predownloading Elden Ring as we speak!
PC? Nice

As long as the current From exists as is, theyll have my money day 1.

I can drop dead tomorrow, a few bucks for an experience I am looking forward to is no issue. Waitin years for a game that you wanna play now to be half price is so dumb to me.
It's the sales too. I got it 20% off on Green Man Gaming.

Man, it comes out on pc thursday at 6pm (EST) can't believe it

I didn't plan time off, but I have thurs, Fri and Sat off pretty much, just some paper work. That trailer took my hype to new levels.

I'm not going to try and analyze it, as I want the freshest approach possible, but that castle they show... I can't wait to explore that. I love castles/citadels in dark fantasy worlds.

Anor Londo and Lothric Castle were so amazing to explore/gawk at. Now with a proper jump and more verticality built in, this is going to be incredible.

I just love how they make places like those, and Boletarian Palace look like lived in/believable places.

Two days boys!!!

I was going to work from home Friday and take the afternoon off to jump online and binge Elden Ring with my best friend who’s booked hid afternoon off, but I checked my work schedule today and our firm’s intake paralegal went booked an in office consultation with a new client for me for Friday at 1pm

Im probably just gonna get it on steam so I can refund if the game runs like ass...I also want to directly support From. Dont mind paying for it twice so I can play on the PS5.

Either way LFG, so close. Its weird, Im looking forward to it but Im not as excited as I used to be, like a decade ago. Morden gaming has completely jaded me even when I trust From so much.

It's funny, it was the Bioshock remaster, Hellpoint, Elex and the RE4 HD mod that rekindled my love for gaming again recently. After my epic Soulsborne run a few years ago, shit was lacking. Took some indie and old school improved games to bring me back excitedly.

I was pretty jaded after Cyberpunk, and so much unfinished shit being released lately/prior.

As imperfect as Dying Light 2 is, it's really fun, and you can appreciate the love and detail they poured into it. Skmething definitely went wrong during production, but you can feel the the effort to make a great game was their first priority.

Now the pinnacle of game development is arriving, gives me hope for future games.

Man RE4 mod is so special, Im so glad you experienced one of the best gaming experiences ever. Bioshock 1 alone is legendary, wonderful writing, top 5 best atmosphere in a game ever, and just a great experience. I just wish the BioShock games had better gameplay design.

The reviews will start to go out tomorrow morning , I can’t wait :) is it me or there is far more hype toward elden ring than there was for horizon forbidden west ?
