Unfortunately no more 3v3 for PVP. the most you can do is 2v2.

Maybe theyll change it
Now that's a pity. Even the 4s v 2s were a lot of fun. The combo of phantoms with/against blues, reds, purples, Aldrich's and anyone else was the best. I really cannot count how many hours I spent invading and getting invaded in DS3. Even with my - roughly- 50/50 record, it was so much fun.

Pontiff's bonfire is my fav pvp spot of any Souls Game. Wish we could have a new version in ER

I hope they nerf the magic, it looked way too strong from the beta gameplay that I watched. People were just spamming spells on some of the bosses and it looked cheap. I'm going melee build anyway, it just feels more appropriate for these games.

u talking about the wolves summons?

reminds me of the ninja clones from NES Ninja Gaiden 2. That shit made the game super easy. Hopefully it’s nerfed hard against bosses or tough enemies.

The beast claw was ripping through bosses in the network test

With all the articles going around i've got a feeling they've made ER far too easy. I hope not but with the whole "I played DS but Sekiro is too hard, make it easier" crap that happened last time, i think they've caved to make this one more accessible.

This sentiment of 'theyre gonna make the game easier' has never held out to be true for all the past games....in fact theyve gotten more difficult. The betas etc have never been a true indication of difficulty for the final games aswell.

I can assure you the opening level can be pretty difficult. There was one boss that just stomped me right out of the gate. I think what From offers here is a chance for casual gamers to step into their world with a chance of finishing the game using buffs to make it a little easier. I also think From left the door open for the hardcore crowd to make it as easy or as hard as they would like. I think this was a wise choice from a business perspective.

I hope you're right.
People said it for DS3, Bloodborne, Sekiro etc....turned out to be wrong. Precedent.

I fully expect the first area to swamp everyone early on. Sekiro and Bloodborne were the new IPs and thats how they intro'd everyone.

I also think From is the only dev in the world that actually cares about tuning difficulty so its paced well.....no other souls like gets it right.

Other western devs dont understand it aswell. Difficulty to them is reducing your health, increasing damage from enemies and increasin their health. Thats boring.

Less than a month…

In all honesty, from what I've played its easier, but only if you let it (Spirit summons and phantoms). But the main bosses are freaking hard. The only easy bosses were the open world dungeon bosses. But they were early game so who knows. Theyre essentially mini bosses like in Sekiro and there were quite a bit of both easy and difficult mini bosses there

I haven't watched a lot of footage. The spell that I'm talking about was the blue magic missle looking thing, it was really cheap to cast and it locked on any target. I've seen people who were trash at melee combat just spam it from a far distance and just take down bosses that way.

Elden Ring Has Been Designed to Reduce Player Stress - Without Reducing Enemy Difficulty

FromSoft had to git gud at balancing the game's stress levels.

A new gameplay overview of Elden Ring has revealed FromSoftware's focus on making sure players aren't overly stressed while playing the game – but seemingly without reducing the difficulty you'd expect from Souls game enemies.

Speaking during Taipei Game Show, producer Yasuhiro Kitao repeatedly explained how elements of the game had been tooled to reduce player stress – in effect making the game difficult in the right places, but gentler in how you reach them.

"With the game's world being so large, that can produce real depth and breadth of enjoyment, but it can also lead to unnecessary stress for some players," explained Kitao. "The dev team has been very careful to avoid that where possible."

Interviewer Misuzu Araki replied: "With battle already being fairly difficult, I can understand wanting to reduce stress elsewhere." Kitao agreed: "Yes, especially as the enemies are so strong."

I hope that means the camera angles on the super massive bosses and keeping a bonfire outside the boss areas.

Hate going through a day trip just to get curbstomped in less than 3 seconds.

i wish theyd stop fucking saying "gone gold" if its gone gold, then why isn't it for sale?
It's industry phraseology referring to a title's master copy – the finished work; sales do not factor in. Easy to see a false friend in given the music industry's gold, platinum, diamond sales certifications which were also disc media.
