Yeah, game was probably unfinished and they should have pushed it back. I googled to see if there was a fix, there isn't and apparently a lot of others have had this issue and there doesn't even seem to be something that triggers it happening.
 
Defeated Katagawa Ball. Not a bad fight, painfully long zone and too much of a pre-sequel vibe. Still trying to enjoy this game regardless.

You have bad weapons, i just zipped through that zone and through Katagawa Ball. Beat the ball in less than 30 seconds, but the first time i tried him, I had some difficulty. Shock and corrosive ARs took him out in no time.

ARs >> SMGs this time.
 
Glad to see I'm not the only one who isn't enjoying this game the way I expected I would
BL2 is my favorite game ever and I loved the presequel but this one has been kinda boring so far
I barely got to the second planet though so I got a lot more left, hopefully it pulls me in soon
 
Level 32 now. Just slowly plugging away here and there. The game didnt suck me in like I had hoped, but its still alright.
 
About to hit level 30. Think I'm getting fairly close to the end. It's getting better as it goes along. I find myself having more fun doing the side shit than the story missions.
 
Game runs fine so far but I had something weird finally happen, I got a legendary from a side mission, went to check the stats but it disappeared? Either way I just restarted the application and it was in there.

I find it very similar to BL2, which isn't a bad thing. But I certainly thought it would be a little bit of an upgrade over it too.
 
Played for the first time yesterday. I never played a borderlands game before. I only played for an hour so I'll get more time in soon.
 
Why the fuck are there so many boss fights? It feels oversaturated.

It’s like, go meet the objective half way across the map - BOSS FIGHT!

Go purchase ammo in the vending machine - BOSS FIGHT!

Check on the laundry - BOSS FIGHT!
 
I'm on my second playthrough, Vault Hunter mode. Just passed the part where Maya gets killed by the Calypso twins.

While battling that bus I advance to level 48. Not sure if I should keep going once I reach level 50 or not. Don't they usually raise the cap eventually?

Is there any reason that I should continue going once I maxed out my level? Playing solo by the way just like I always have in every single Borderlands game One, two, and the prequel.

Hell yeah I'm glad to see this also. I like part 2 and the prequel much better.
 
Picked up an Energized Re-Charger shield from a loot Tink. The instant recharge and 20 second cool down is nice.
 
I've been getting the worst loot drops from bosses. Straight trash. Hopefully in the second playthrough it gets better.

I was talking to my buddy about how I haven’t been getting shit for legendary guns, then today I get two of them in the span of like 30 minutes.
 
Level 14 with Moze using the mini gun and flamethrower on iron bear, a potent combo
 
Level 38, 40 hours in... Game finished. On to doing the rest of the side missions and discovering all named locations, hammerlock hunts, zero's challenges etc
 
Have Flak at 50 and very well geared and Moze to 50 and very well geared. I farmed all saturday, then tried to level Zane Sunday. Fuck him. He sucks.

Still farming a ton with Flak, some with Moze, gettin dem drops and banking perfect Legendaries. Pretty stoked for free event soon and DLC.
