How do you rate Borderlands 3?

Just started playing this morning. BL3 is legit. Feels pretty different than Bl2 though.
 
Anybody playing on PC? I am seeing a lot of reviews saying there are issues with frame rates and crashes. I'm also worried there are a lot of reviews calling this "Borderlands 2.5" and how its just part 2 with new characters. Borderlands 2 is an all-time great game IMO but the Pre-Sequel was just boring as hell. I'm on the fence with getting the 3rd one.
 
So far so good, not too far in yet. Only gripe is that I bought it on PS4 and since playing BL1 and BL2 on PC lately, the graphics make me feel like I’m on a PS3 again.
 
This Epic Game Store is a real epic piece of shit.
 
Level 6 now. It's crazy how much loot you get from a Hammerlock hunt

Nice, I've only gotten 1 so far. It dropped from the Maliwan Mastermind with the huge brain. I haven't used it yet because it's level 13 and I was level 11 when it dropped.

I haven't played it, but honestly, I wouldn't expect more than BL 2.5. The formula is solid, so I wouldn't expect much in terms of revolutionizing it. They either nail it(BL2), or they don't(BL: PS). With it being made by the original developers, and not an off-shoot(like BL: PS), I'd imagine it scratches that itch, and hits all the right notes. There's a fine line to ride with these franchises, that only the original developers seem to nail for whatever reason. It's what separates the pretenders. That's why there are so many Diablo clones, or WOW clones, that just can't quite nail the formula.

Again though, I haven't played it, but given what I've heard, if you're a BL fan, I think it's a pretty safe bet.

About 3-4 hours in, i'm getting some pretty bad dips in the second planet (100+ FPS to 40 in some areas on medium settings). I have a pretty good PC - i7 7700 with a 1080 and my temps were fine when playing, so I don't think the issue is on my end. It's not a regular thing but definitely noticeable especially in big gun fights. As far as the game itself so far I'm enjoying it, I didn't play BL2 so I can't really say if it just feels like BL 2.5.

Member when they said Pre-Sequel was just a glorified expansion pack?



Some reviewers say basically say the same thing with BL3.

Aren't you supposed to get five golden keys when you buy the super deluxe version?

Yeah, go to the Menu screen and select "social" from there, just navigate to the mailbox.

lol I had forgot all about that until i saw this post after i went by the golden chest and didn't have any.

They even give away guns.I had no idea that gun was in there.

This is where I got some additional shift codes from....They're kinda hit/miss for some people it seems, but they seem to work good for xboxlive.

I played a little last night, I think I hit level 7. Me and my friend took forever to do one mission because we kepts going off and kiilling people on the side.

So I got that now, just need to figure out where this gun I got from the weaponizer is lol
 
What class/skills are people taking? I took the beastmaster and trying to build up crit/stealth with one of those gun shooting monkey things.

The dude that makes clones of himself looks neat.

It would be in the mail....but the weaponizer is random so it could go to any of the three Borderlands games lol

I'm playing as Zane the operative, fun character so far. I figured most people were going to start off with Fl4K. I love the sentinel that he has even more than the digiclone.
 
Only played for an hour or so, picked Moze, the mech suit is pretty cool, only level 4 ATM

I'm using Moze. I'm level 11, but I just equipped a class mod that does +4 RPM skill
 


Just found this gun....I highly recommend it for anyone that's in the mid-teens. It's in Lectra City. A sniping shotgun from Jakobs, it's a monster. I really wasn't feeling Jakobs until this gun. Hyperion and Atlas are my two favorite weapon makers so far. I haven't gotten anything good from Torgue yet.
