Graphics look good but gameplay is same stuff as ever. Not worth full price imo
Miss classic BF2 lol

They really should have considered lowering entry cost (40-50€?) because the more bodies, the better in this space.Graphics look good but gameplay is same stuff as ever. Not worth full price imo

Out of curiosity, what games out there are worth 70 dollars to you?Shotguns are still OP, still dying behind walls and getting packet burst. All this while on 11 ping.
If the game ever goes on a ~15 dollar sale like 2042 i'll probably buy it. This isnt worth 70 dollars.

With FPS games only if they are single player and or co-op focused. Amount of development time needed for PvE content is grotesquely disproportional. Multiplayer only FPS game depends upon the game studio and target delivery platform. This places the range from free to play to forty dollars basically.
With Battlefield always being a casual arcade FPS. Placing a price tag on it only makes sense to help mitigate a cheating infestation on Pc. However asking forty dollars isnt justified considering the post-release monetization practices of Dice and EA.
We don't know the post release monetization yet, and it's impossible to release a AAA title at 40 or 50 dollars without absolutely getting hosed. They really should have considered lowering entry cost (40-50€?) because the more bodies, the better in this space.
The ROI on word of mouth and content share cannot be overstated once a live service title catches fire.
I know there are teams of people and data supporting the choice they’d made so just my two pence.

Yes, that's the freemium part of the game, the battle royale. It makes no sense to make 1.5 games, and then charge significantly less than you would have 20 years ago even though your development costs have skyrocketed. Its not impossible. EA/Dice are already partially doing it by developing two Battlefield 6 games. One with a 70 dollar price tag an the other being free to play.
Monetization of the retail game client we already know. It'll have a battlepass for each season, event passes and a digital skin storefront.

This isn't a case of EA being greedy, it's just the modern game industry's financial structure.
This capture sectors challenge is ass.
If you’re on defense you can’t make any progress. Rush is bad enough, but Breakthrough is terrible as most people seem to just want to play team deathmatch on every mode.
OK...you still haven't explained how it makes financial sense to sell your game at a loss and bet it all on your post-launch revenue, even though your past couple of releases have flopped hard on release and never made it to the promised land of microtransactions.Such practice isnt common across the full retail price games industry. Only three entities regularly implement this level of post-launch monetization to their ~70 dollar games.
Yeah after buying the ultimate version of 2042 im still not sold on bf6 hehehe but i am enjoying the betaThey really should have considered lowering entry cost (40-50€?) because the more bodies, the better in this space.

Bit unreasonable. Challenges of this nature arent designed to be completed within a few days of the two beta dates. They are designed to be passively worked towards over the course of a ~3 month battlepass season.
Standard Dice has followed in the modern era is that beta skin unlock progression carries over to release. Only class/weapon unlocks are reset.

But wtf dice they removed the playlist for rush and breakthrough you need to use the crappy server browser

Who exactly are these three entities you claim do this and everyone else doesn't?
Any Sherbros up for some Friday night Battlefield? I need squadmates!
Well it is kinda that also only other people non medic can revive is teamates and is super slow.Btw i really think reviving should be medic only feature, it made role of medic so much more important back in bad company 1 if i remember correctly
Buut just my 2 cents
