Official Apex Legends Discussion w/ Gamertag List

I was playing on PC yesterday with a dude named WallHackJack. We dropped hot at the Armory or Artillery whatever it's called, and the dude had 10 kills before the first circle warning. He always seemed to know where people were and what they were doing. We won the game with 18 kills between us in under 14 minutes.

I reported him for cheating.

Third teammate leaves even before our boots touch the ground,surprisingly we still win the match while you had 0 kills.

I know! Right?!?! We did have great luck with the circle when we first dropped and got some primo loot. But yeah, that ain't happening again! :)

Yea I think the update fucked something up. I thought someone was hacking because the match just started and I rush this dude having purple armor and the mozambique. I was pretty much in his face and blasted him three times and none of it registered. Thought for sure he was hacking but like two matches later a peackeeper blast didn't register either but the next one did.

I was just telling my cousin it feels like we do better when our teammate dies in the first two mins. We've won like that more than we have with our third guy sticking around. Only once have we won like that and the dude was actually really good.
 
Got carried through a game yesterday. Wasn't killing anyone (though dropped a couple), was dropped and revived a few times. During the end game I was dropped, revived and my team mates stormed into a firefight while I hid and recharged. They both got dropped, I strolled in and killed the one remaining enemy player as he was winding up for an execution.

YOU'RE THE CHAMPION!

I really feel this game should add an assist type field on top of kills. I hate how I tear through someones armor get like 50 damage after that and then my cousin comes in and finishes the guy off and I get jack shit recognition for it.
 
Yeah you should get rewarded based on the amount of damage you cause per kill. I can't count how many times I have been in a firefight and been instrumental in getting these guys near death, then some team mate swoops in for the drop and kill.

I agree that cheaters should be reported, I'm just a little skeptical that people have already figured out how to hack this game. Maybe I'm just naïve. I do report blatant cheaters, but in your case maybe the guy just got lucky on his pickups off the start and maybe he was just really good.

I dunno. I can't see reporting someone for making kills, but I would report them for not taking damage, which of course you wouldn't be able to confirm if the dude was your team mate.

Right now Apex is about the worst live FPS for latency. Shooter preference compounds this issue.

I suspect the dudebro I reported had some form of wall hack (hence the name WallHackJack) as he ran right toward the loot he wanted, and was calling out the locations and activities of people in the surrounding area. There's no way he should have known some of the things he was calling out without the ability to see through walls.

He was also a total psycho over the voice coms. Shouting, REEEEEEing when he got knocked. I asked him "Bro, are you using a wall hack?" and he said "What would GIVE YOU THAT IDEA HREHAHUGHHGHHGH."

Hopefully he gets banned.

I love when companies go the free to play route, but it makes dealing with cheaters much more difficult.

There are loads of cheat programs available and lots of people reporting their experiences using them.

Check out google and/or reddit.

Yes this happens all the time to me it's annoying. The damage dealt at the end of a match doesn't mean shit to me. There are cheaters already in this game. Saw an article saying they banned 16000 cheaters.

Do you have shitty armor? I'm starting to notice fighting people in white armor is pretty much suicide now. Blue isn't much better but I do notice a difference. Purple is when I can really tell how much harder it is to kill me.
 
A week today before i'll be able to play again. I bet i'll be rusty as fuck whilst all of you have been honing your skills.

Well fuck man, I guess I am just too honest and assume the best from people. I had no idea that there were a bunch of hacks available out there but now upon reflection, I can think of a number of instances where I was shooting the SHIT out of someone and they weren't taking any damage at all and killed me easily.

I'll keep an eye out now that I know, and I will actively report suspected cheaters.

I honestly just can't understand the mindset. Especially in a game like Apex. I mean, you start off with ZERO loot, and have to find stuff, and after the match is over you end up again with ZERO loot. It's not as if that cheating is going to get you some sweet weapon you can stash in your "vault" or something. It's literally pointless.

Well, unless you're in it for the level up rewards that are all cosmetic I guess.
