That's probably 90% of the reason I haven't been playing. What was the thought process behind adding a hitscan weapon that does PRE damage. Wtf.

"Hey guys, we think the Longbow is too powerful, so we nerfed the fire rate. But also, get a load of this hitscan rifle that fires a targeting beam that does significant damage before hitting for 50 damage at 300 meters without actually having to aim"

I wouldn't mind it AS much if the charge up time was a little longer and if the "target beam" did significantly less damage. Like... cap it at 15 damage. There's no reason it should be able to max out at 28 damage before the rifle actually fires. That's wild.

Played one match tonight and it was a win despite queuing with only one random.

Last fight it was a team with high ground. My team mate wasn't good but he was communicating.

The whole final team went full retard and split up, so I ended up picking them off one by won.

Ended up with 6 kills and 1500 damage. My team mate had 4 kills and 400 damage. He stole a few and had to be revived twice, but I'll take one mediocre player who communicates over two good players who don't.

Got another win, and this time with much less help.

Constantly moving forward, ended the match with 8 kills and 1669 damage. A few kills early game were stolen, but certainly the very final kill. Broke a shield and beyond (after dropping two) on a lifeline and gave chase and my random team mate just happened to make it into the building right on time to steal the kill.

Stats?

Me: 8 kills, 1669 damage
Teammate: 1 kill, 29 damage
Other Team Mate: 0 kills, 0 damage (left the match after dropping solo and getting dropped)

I'm happy with winning no matter what, but god damn. Don't steal a kill.

I give teammates every opportunity to finish their kills, but will do so myself if they faff about too much and give enemies a chance to revive their downed teammates.

I had one the other day where a teammate downed someone, and I was staying close as the bad guy crawled away, just in case. My teammate (who downed the baddie), came up to us, looked at me, looked at the downed enemy, looked at me again, then ran away <45>

So I cleaned up their mess and ran after them.

I mean it's pretty easy to tell when a team mate is winning a gunfight. I wasn't taking damage. And in the entire history of team FPS games, people have hated kill stealers.

Also jeez dude, are you mad at me about something? Take it down a notch.

I had to back and realized that you got mad at me for criticizing your "13 or 30" OP. It wasn't hard feelings, bud. I (and many others) hate OPs that are just pictures and videos without even a brief synopsis. I know I was a bit rude, but it's all for laughs in the Mayberry. Sorry if I offended.

I have not! Mostly because I barely play anymore.

I did play a few matches today and found a vault key, though! I got to the vault and it had already been raided. The other two rooms were outside of the circle!

I finally found a charge rifle and that thing is just dumb haha. I felt skeptical about using instead of the Longbow that I first picked up.

But jesus, it's the easiest weapon to use in the game. It might be not be any good at close range, but even at mid-range as long as you get the drop, it's disgusting. Instantly melt a shield and then pushing is super easy.

I raided me a vault yesterday. Was satisfying.

Was lucky to make it there. Got the key in Capitol City and then just ran straight to the vault across open ground

It was the Bangalore's first game on the map. I found my trusty Wingman and had a digital threat scope on it. I was explaining to the Bang' how the vault system and keys work when we heard a huge commotion coming from the caves, I knew the vault had been opened and there was battle raging over it!

We went in and the Bang' smoked out and I went to work with my Wingman. We came up behind the group pushing the squad in the vault and they got crushed. I knocked a Bloodhound in the vault and was about to rush in, but their caustic threw out their gas and the circle was closing in so we out the way we came and beat the circle and arrived at the geyser.

3 teams left!

The Bang' smoked out again and dropped her arty on the two teams! We took out one squad at range and there was a caustic (the same one from the cave?!?) peeking and gassing. The digital threat came up aces as I plugged him center-mass and then turned his head into a canoe!

Got the win!

Been hanging with @Mohawk Mauler and @HwoarangStyle too much! It's starting to rub off!
