Official Apex Legends Discussion w/ Gamertag List

I just saw pubg was free on Xbox gamepass, was thinking about it for the hell of it but I might just try apex anyway since so many people are talking about it.

For those that have played both, do it on Xbox or on PC? I can do either just wanting to know how crippling the console port is?

I like just chilling on the couch with a controller a lot, but some FPS games I can’t even imagine trying to play on Xbox like planetside.

Just wondering.

Apex runs great on Xbox, pubg runs terribly on console.

If u try pubg, go pc for sure. As far as apex goes, pick whichever you have more friends on who will squad up with you.

Thanks, I don’t squad up, not even in planetside. I like just wrecking havoc on my own.

About to load mixer, ignoredfive7 if anyone wants to get a laugh at a 5yr old trolling on pubg.

Hey guy I just killed you! Has got to hurt hearing a five year old say it hahahhaha

Working away from home for the next 2 weeks, been here a few days and already getting withdrawals. I can't wait to get home to play it lol.

Absolutely. Loving it with how much fortnite has fallen lately

Ive been playing with a friend on xbox. My friend is like the worst teamate. Every time I engaged a team he was so far that it took him 45 seconds to run over. Hes always been terrible at playing as a team but wont accept it.

I had to start calling him out so he would get it. Every time me and our 3rd teamate would get in a fight and die I would say "Youre nowhere to be seen once again" . He always shows up after the team dies and tries to solo them, but hes never once actually took them out.

He thinks hes playing pubg. He also freaks out if you loot anywhere near him. Hes a huge dork.

Keep moving, get good gear, learn to use the abilities and use the edge of the ring to limit the sides people come, engage and flank.

And as a minor tip, keep your ears open for Loot Ticks. They make telltale robotic chatterings when you're nearby. Can drop some half decent loot when you destroy them.

Played a game yesterday where two guys were saying I suck right as we enter the match (without even playing yet) I carried them to their first victory with 9 kills, one guy got 2 kills and the other got 0 kills
Pretty satisfying

Ok are you engaging teams by yourself why are you going so far away from him. If he's that bad you should be following him and staying close to him. Don't rely on him to do that. Not saying your the problem but my cousin tries to pull this shit on me.

He's looting boxes, see's a team, calls it out\pings them, then runs in guns blazing, dies, and says "Where were you?". I don't know ass hole why not try looking at that map seeing my position and realizing you should wait before you engage. Just last night we win a game. During one of the squad fights we down one of them and the other two drop off a cliff. Our teammate who is really good gets downed. Before I can even say anything my cousin jumps down and starts attacking them. I stay and rez our teammate and he's like "Where were you". Then he wants to know why I didn't say anything but he didn't even give me 10 seconds to get an idea of who was down and what we need to do next. He just rushes in way to much.

I always stick with the team. He has a bad habit of running away really fast. There could be 15 buildings beside us and he'll run past them all to the other side of the city. Its basically just because hes a total loot whore who doesnt understand how to be a team player. He does it in every br weve played. I cant follow him because he takes off so far so fast I would have to be watching him constantly. Thats why I just call him out now. When im with our other teamate fighting and hes not, he cant really say im the one who ran off (which he tries to do). It makes it obvious when we both die and hes still 200m away running over.

He does the same thing. Sees a team, doesnt say a thing, runs to fight them all, dies, says where were you? I cant teleport to you in 2 seconds dude, learn how to play instead of trying to be rambo.

Hes not even good and would lose 70% of 1v1s yet for some reason thinks he can take out entire teams by himself.

Hes my best friend but he has no game sense at all, he can aim but has low game iq that gets him killed almost every game.

Ah yea sounds like he's the problem. My cousin is very similar but doesn't sound as bad. It's mainly in the beginning of the game he runs off so far because like your friend he hates being near people when he's looting. Once we get past the initial phase and get most of the stuff we want he chills out and at that point I mainly just start following him since I have what I want.

I would try that with your friend. Get what you need as quickly as you can and then just follow him around and let him get whatever he wants since he's so insane about that shit you can pick up the scraps. It's the only way I can make sure me and my cousin are close together and prepared. During fire fights though I haven't found a way to settle him down he's way to ready to run out and try to take on the whole map.

Yesterday he started yelling at me and our teamate because we entered a city and there was 4 pods with gear. He says were following him and that its his spot.

We literally just got there and he freaks out about loot. For me personally, if we enter a city and see 4 pods I would want my teamates to each get one at least. He wants everything for himself. Its really annoying playing with someone greedy like that but what can I do, hes my friend.

I dont care about loot as much. Yes its important and everything but I dont get mad when other people take stuff that is near me. Id prefer we stick together and share anyway.

Ah well lol.

you have to shame players who break off early in skydiving otherwise they'll do it to you every time

lol wow that's insane. I'm the same way, even my cousin gets it. You see 3-4 pods everyone gets one. When we first land though he does make it a point to run off away from us to loot. If he even sees me running in his direction he's like "WTF are you doing?".

Then don't drop me in the middle of barren land, you meatball!
I'm coming my brudda

when you're playing Apex and your character won't stop meme-ing and you go down and the enemy finishes you outside the circle and your team looks at each other worried and you go

DO NOT WORRY ABOUT ME MY BRUDDAS SPIT ON THE NONBELIEVERS

They need some sort of metric when matching you with teammates. Also need to address people leaving once killed.
