Volkan is good, he’s had some tough losses, but he’s also fought some killers. Ankalaev, Jiri, Reyes, DC… no shame in losing to those guys. Put him in with anyone outside the contenders and he’s putting them away.

Not everyone is gonna be champ. Either way when you tune into his fight, you know there’s a good chance you’ll see an exciting finish.

I will never forgive him for losing to Anthony Smith tho.

That fight was frustrating. Volkan was putting it on Smith then all of sudden late in the fight Volkan fades and Smith has a second wind and choked him up. I think it was Smith at his peak at this point of time, iirc he beat Gustafsson not too long before that.

More likely to be Hill, but I'd personally prefer Volkan vs Khalil for sure

People put to much emphasis on losses sometimes. Oh he got KO’d by Jiri he can’t be a good striker.

He has 14 TKOs he’s very capable.

Him pinning Alonzo against the cage and unleashing was beautiful.

He is good at putting a lot of force into his strikes, leaves himself open to throw big shots, and has the accuracy and timing to often land them.
