Odd question.. PS4 and UFC 167

The event goes for how long? If you can't wait that long then switch sports/hobbies.

That's just stupid there's no rule saying you can't like more than one thing. I'm not much for video games but there's plenty of things if rather do than watch tv even if it is a UFC PPV. Doesn't make me less of a fan.

I don't know. But what I do know is that I'm heading out in a few hours to pick up my midnight release PS4. Then, on Saturday my boys are coming over for game AND fights. Gonna be a good weekend.

Edit: Shhhiiiiittt, I just realized i infact have two TVs. no worries bitches.

I didn't say you can't like more than one thing, I'm a huge video game fan but if you call yourself an MMA fan and can't put aside a couple of hours of your day/night to watch one of the P4P greats then to me you're not really a fan. If you had family commitments or had to attend some other social event that's understandable but if you're at home and chose PS4 over MMA then you're not a real fan imo.

Nah. The pussies who will be playing PS4 aren't the same hardcore badasses that like to watch GSP while fucking their girlfriends butts.

WTF?! lol, I wonder what would happen if you see a GSP finish.

I wish that were true. Ps4 is gonna probably outsell xbox and will be sold out everywhere. I didnt preorder one so tomorrow I am going on the.hunt.

Good luck. I got lucky and found the last pre order xbox at a target near me. The guys told me that the box they were in got misplaced somewhere and someone found them a day earlier and put the preorder cards out.

I don't agree with that, you can be a fan without having to sacrifice things you'd rather do to watch it, I like the Bucks too but is probably don't even see 3/4ths of their games. Side note I'm definitely watching just making a point.

I wish I had more time to play videogames, but I never miss my fights

I agree that most real fans will be watching. But when it's a difference between selling 800,000 or 900,000 ppv's those extra 100,000 buys are the more casual fans. And the UFC wants their money as well.

good question, wonder how much ppl are shelling out for their ps4s if they didnt have it fully paid and then pay for a ppv? tough

Us in the adult world aren't usually made of money. Many of us are in college, doing internships, or are just getting started in our careers. I think it could definitely cut into buys because the console's 400 bills, the new PSN is like 60 a year, you need at least two or three games at sixty a piece, and many of us will get an extra controller for probably about fifty.

650 dollars later, a fifty five dollar PPV might not make the cut.

The people who have PS4's will be spending about 3hrs downloading critical updates and such before even being able to use their system. And that's if everything goes right....

I didn't know so many prepubescent children were into the UFC.
