Anyone know what's the difference between OT and PT? I broke my hand, and been having a hard time getting a appointment for occupational therapy. If not taking it soon enough, will it effect my hand?
I guess the OT will just help you learn how to do your job with a broken hand since we don't know how to expedite the healing process (other than to protect and immobilize the injured bone): http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos078.htm
I don't know why you'd need a PT for a broken hand unless there are serious health implications.
