Anyone know what's the difference between OT and PT? I broke my hand, and been having a hard time getting a appointment for occupational therapy. If not taking it soon enough, will it effect my hand?

Out of all my broken bones my hand healed the slowest, just take it easy and wait for a therapist to guide you.

I guess the OT will just help you learn how to do your job with a broken hand since we don't know how to expedite the healing process (other than to protect and immobilize the injured bone):

I don't know why you'd need a PT for a broken hand unless there are serious health implications.
