I think the end result is a lot of performative action. It’s not going to be 40 acres and a mule or a cash deposit. It’s going to be some initiative to improve traditional “black” neighborhoods. There will be some statues and acknowledgement of past slavery. Most of those black neighborhoods are already beginning to gentrify around 15-20 years ago. Many black families left the area already.whenever there is a suggestive study, there usually is an outcome for further funding, and it's not for nothing.
