She's in danger of being primaried... She's god awful, but Cuomo is even more unpopular

So she did what Mamdani did... put on one face for the public but there's zero way she'll betray her corporate donors behind the scenes.

There's almost zero chance will be able to fund most of the policies he ran on.

Yeah, he’s insane to be sure. His dei pick for fire chief is also laughable since she has never been a firefighter. Paramedic, yes-but not a firefighter.
 
I can see why Mamdani got elected. Incredibly articulate. Disciplined in interviews. Excellent on social media. Even his clothing feels like a brand - conservative but young. No rich guy cosplay. No activist scruffiness.

His success for real people (not the posters who are already in tears about a mayor in a city where they don't live and hate on principle) will come down to what sort of political operator he is and luck. (Key policy planks like affordability are mostly driven by things outside of a Mayor's control. Remember when Rudy G got outsized credit for lowering crime in the 90's and it turned out that crime was falling almost everywhere regardless of policies? That is the life of a politician.)

What do you think firefighters do most of the time? They're glorified paramedics at this point. But I guess people like you will never miss a chance to take a pot shot at someone's identity.
 
It is interesting how Radical Muslims embrace Socialism/Marxism. I think it's that such a government is aligned with authoritarianism.

You may be shocked to discover that over 70% of FDNY's emergency calls are handled by EMS, which just so happens to be Bonsignore's operational background.

Even more shocking - and I highly suggest that you sit down for this one - it is not uncommon for the Head of the FDNY to lack any operational experience in the department. Giuliani and Bloomberg both appointed people who had never been firefighters to that role. But they were men so I think we can all agree that was different.

I look forward to the Post reporting that firefighters were slow to put out a burning Tesla and the usual suspects blaming it on women and communism.

Only a complete rube would think Mamdani is a radical Muslim. My guess is you generally don't interact with Muslims outside of the rage bait fed to you by your social media feed.

That's interesting but makes sense. Also demonstrates how the crowd that complains about DEI often have no knowledge of the norms of the institutions they criticize which means they're ill equipped to distinguish bad hires from good ones.

It simply boils down to a simple hatred of the Judeo-Christian west, and the value structure of western civilization. Tale as old as time, all the way back to Greece vs Persian. It has never ended.

Best you expand your thoughts beyond surface level. One of the cornerstone principles of this country is having proper council in defense proceedings.

This comment of yours is personally insulting to me on two fronts. For it paints a forefather of mine who is a founding father of this country in a negative light for such selfless action.
