Elections NYC mayoral race

Trump urges New Yorkers to vote for Cuomo for mayor

Donald Trump urged New Yorkers in his strongest terms yet to vote for former Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the city’s mayoral race on the eve of the election.

“Whether you personally like Andrew Cuomo or not, you really have no choice. You must vote for him, and hope he does a fantastic job,” the president wrote on Truth Social on Monday, adding that Cuomo “is capable of it” and that Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani “is not!”

Trump "Andrew Cuomo never heard of him, maybe he got me a cup of coffee one time or maybe pardoned him, but definitely never heard of him. "

Trump "Andrew Cuomo never heard of him, maybe he got me a cup of coffee one time or maybe pardoned him, but definitely never heard of him. "

either that, or "rigged and stolen! evidence coming soon, right after my new health care plan and obama's real birth certificate."

Ethnic Jewish American people have such a grip over New York City that they will make SURE by any means necessary that the people will regret voting for Mamdani. Same with NYPD, they hate Mamdani so much they will make sure the people will suffer for it.

Just rich ones IMHO.

Sane and normal Jews are splitting with elitist weirdos.

As predicted, you can't define why it's a valid attack.

Because it isn't a valid attack.

Full points for doubling down and asking me to prove a negative. You chuds should consider instead of burning books, maybe read some.
You really need an explanation as to why being a commie is a problem? Its funny you tell me to read a book when you clearly have never cracked a history book.

lol. cuomo the cuck in his concession speech trying to act like he lost by a razor thin margin.

Sounds like Trump's economy is really booming for the luxury apartments, but yes, people are leaving and the city has been spending more than it's receiving for several years and have been draining their rainy day funds rolled from previous years for 3 straight years.

CBC found that:

  • Expenses exceeded revenues by $636.0 million in fiscal year 2023 and $1.1 billion in fiscal year 2024, adjusted for the City’s ability to shift timing of payments;
  • Year-end prepayment of expenses—which effectively rolls previously accumulated excess money from one year to the next—declined from $6.1 billion in fiscal year 2022 to $4.4 billion in fiscal year 2024, and is likely to decline further in fiscal year 2025;
  • The fiscal year 2026 preliminary budget is short $3.6 billion needed to provide planned services;
    • This shortfall is comprised of underbudgeting $4.0 billion needed to maintain current service levels and $450.0 million to implement the State’s Class Size Reduction mandate, offset by $575.0 million in higher than budgeted State support and $266.0 million in overbudgeting for City-funded asylum seeker services;
  • The City has already added $3.8 billion during fiscal year 2025 to fund programs that CBC identified as underbudgeted at the beginning of the fiscal year, and more will likely be needed;
    • During fiscal year 2024, the City added $4.0 billion to fund underbudgeted programs that year; and
  • Future budget gaps are $7.8 billion, $10.1 billion, and $9.6 billion in fiscal years 2027 to 2029, respectively, when underbudgeting, the Class Size Reduction mandate, and projected asylum seeker costs are taken into account.
Thank god Mamdani plans on raising taxes.

What is a jewish portal? And why wouldn't they support Mamdani?

because according to the bigots and islamophobes and the muppets who tune into faux noise, tuck tuck and ben ben just to be told what to think, he's a socialist commie jihadist something something something who supports and maybe even orchestrated 9/11. and he's probably woke, gay, and his wife is a tranny or something too. therefore he is not qualified to be mayor. at least that's what the fbi director and the secretary of defense told me.

Thats not data. Thats just another person's opinion/ experience. And not everybody going through emotional distress is in psychosis.
Do you think people are going through emotional distress in safe areas ? Do you think it care for "data " when I live with somebody who has first hand experience with this.

I’m loving it.

And the people crying about radical Islam are idiots. He’s going to try and implement a progressive platform. No one needs to worry about Sharia. Never mind the fact the Constitution can’t permit it.

I could actually live under Sharia, but most of you all, especially the lefties couldn’t. I don’t drink hardly ever at all. I could take or leave pork. I don’t fornicate outside my marriage or watch porn. I’m not religious, but as a non Muslim, I wouldn’t be required to participate in worship.
And if you were to kidnap a women then you could sleep with her. The joys of Islam.

Sorry, there's no context the makes using that phrase and not have it be associated with communism. You're like a retard trying to hammer the square peg thru the circle hole at this point.
Well, except for the many capitalist countries that have seized means of production for various sectors, but are not communist in nature 🤷‍♂️

Would you consider Brazil or Mexico to be communist countries?

Saying he only did once isn't a defense. Maybe if he publicly retracted it and explained he made a mistake saying it. But as far as I know he hasn't done that.
Sure it is, you keep acting like it's his campaign slogan. It's the only reason I've said that 😂

Here you go with the "What about Trump" deflections. I knew that was coming. Good job on showing you can't argue the topic. Miller probably is a Nazi. I'm sure you probably agree but when it comes to Mamdami you get all worked up because you're a hack.

His ability on what he can and can't realistically accomplish doesn't mean he's not a commie.

Of course it's what about Trump. It's the main reason Mamdani got elected lol. It's also what about Trump because you refuse to apply similar logic to him, even when it is about a million times more egregious.

Nobody is getting worked up. Lol calling anybody a "hack" on sherdog. We are all hacks and cans here you ding-a-ling. I don't live anywhere near NYC, so I'm not exactly getting worked up over NYC politics.

So he's a communist based on one statement? Do you believe Trump is a Nazi? You already admitted Stephen Miller is likely a Nazi. You are clearly a trump supporter and have been for a while. What's that say about you?

I don't vote for Trump, dumb dumb.

Yes, people go through emotional stress in all areas.
And no, I don't think you care about anything, data or otherwise, that would potentially alter your world views.

Wasn't aware that you had to vote for Trump in order to be a Trump supporter.

One can be a cheerleader without voting.
I've made more anti-Trump threads than anti-Biden threads. But sure, whatever helps think you won this one. <lol>

The rich are a very small group of people. Those poor people you don't care that leave involve major players (i.e. teachers, line cooks, custodians, park attendants, etc.). I would argue those poor people leaving have more value than the rich who are supposedly leaving. Your second paragraph is not as valid as it used to be considering the people that have a lot of the money are the same people that are asking people to show up to work in physical locations. People seem to forget that moving does not necessarily solve the problem. Look at what happened when people left California to move to Austin. It was not the boom a lot of rich people thought it would be because you cannot replicate all the same things in different areas.

As far as your real estate comment everyone talks about rich people investing and that is used all the time but if you need to provide for the people that voted you in office why would you ever believe the "free market" will provide adequate housing? I'm not saying the government does not have faults because it absolutely does but the "free market" cares more about ROI than providing affordable housing for the teacher with 2 children.
The government aren't providing any housing to anybody unless you're talking about the government buying up all the apartments and turning them into section 8, which wasn't even his pitch and isn't possible since doing that would be like 30 years of the city's entire budget. His pitch is to wave a magic wand and demand people who do own them to just eat losses, which they won't and we've already seen how trying that just chokes off the housing supply and makes rents skyrocket, which is one of the reasons apartments in NYC are already tiny and preposterously expensive despite the population only increasing by 600,000 in the last 75 years.

In what way was people moving from Ca to Tx not a massive boom? Texas has had significantly faster GDP growth than both California and NY, and are now at a $24 billion surplus, while California has been falling short of revenue projections for the last several years are at a $14 billion deficit because of the same "they won't leave" attitude.

Teachers are already government employees and are paid very well in NYC, and no, line cooks obviously do not add more value to a city than the people paying all the taxes and employing the citizens.
