You haven't at all demonstrated that happened here, in fact she seems eminently qualified and despite that you're still complaining. You said in your last post you refuse to accept that Mamdani's appointments aren't DEI , seemingly as an article of faith and in the face of evidence that this appointment is in fact perfectly qualified.
I understand you would prefer a white man get the job but that doesn't mean Bonsignore isn't qualified.
This thread has nothing to do with KBJ or Biden, it's the Mamdani thread.
Equivocating between Trump's Cabinet and KBJ is telling, the latter is far more qualified than the likes of Hegseth and RFK Jr but since she's black you'd struggle acknowledge that.
Jesus, you’re really reaching there trying to say that my issue with kbj is her race. I explained why I have issues with dei appointments even if they yield someone with qualifications. Race, gender, sexual orientation should NEVER enter into the equation-ever. A leader should never say “you know what we need to lead the city/country/business….. a _________, so let’s look to see if we can find one that can work.”
I never said I think the fdny should be led by a w/m. I just said that I believe they chose her because she is a lesbian first and foremost and that qualifications came second. I stated that I believe the leader of the largest fire department in the country should be headed by someone with that experience. You have stated that they respond mostly to medical calls, and I accept that, but that is why a firefighter has that experience as well as the experience of dealing with fire. Bonsignore doesn’t have the latter part.
