She wanted to fly out for a week and do Broadway shows and a whole lot more, but has instead agreed to go to Nashville, TN... which I love, because I want to also check out a few homes on Priest Lake just East of Nashville.

Seems Cuomo has surged ahead now?? Haven’y been following, but that is what recent posts from polymarket and others are suggesting.

Regardless of the outcome, kind of interesting to see if this (basically gambling on politics) will be further regulated, honestly seems bizarre to me and easy market manipulation.

A number of the headlines regarding this race are fueled by polymarket and the similar App, Kashi. I think it is kind of fucked up either of those have become “a thing”. It is like The Running Man version of politics

It is a bit bizarre that some no-name was all of a sudden surging over a prominent shoe-in, despite his past issues.

I wouldn't be surprised if betting markets were "interfering" a bit. I mean, it's not like polls ever have to be accurate. Imagine what you could do with that power...

Seems like he won. The numbers are in his favor and he controls the more populated areas. That's awesome. He seems like a wonderful person, I hope NYC thrives under him. I think he'll be met with a lot of opposition though. A lot of the establishment dems probably aren't happy.

If either Cuomo or the DSA candidate lose this round they will appear on the general election on other party ballots. One on the working family party the other on the independent ticket.

Unless he breaks 50%, there's no maybe about it; it will go to ranked. But odds are in his favor. Although I've only seen one poll where he wins in a ranked format

Just as commentary, as one of the reasons I found this interesting is that LA mayor is a known communist. Now NYC mayor will be a known Islamis-socialist, nepotism crisis actor.
