NWO with Sting

You know who should've got Goldbergs mega push instead?

Scott Steiner.

He could still go in the ring at the time
Better promos
Respected Veteran who paid his dues in the tag division
Looked like he could kill you
Had the background to actually do it

Big Poppa Pump sure but not his earlier version :)

Scot Steiner sucked.

His big finisher was a rear chinlock.

As someone who was in grade school at the time I can confirm the Steiner recliner hurt like a S.O.B. Imagine someone with arms the size of Steiner doing it. It was a good finisher imo.
Buff Bagwell was almost paralyzed by knocking his head backwards, it ain’t supposed to do that - which is why the AJ finish (can’t remember it’s name, Styles Clash?) is so stupid and dangerous. A recliner or a camel clutch is fucking painful and impossible to get out of.

Walls of Jericho also look fake if you’ve never had a bastard crank on you.

I remember the Boston crab.

I always thought that the jacknife and razors edge /crucifix bomb was a killer finish.

It's basically a regular move but a DDT is actually gross irl.

2000 Scott Steiner was a wrestling god but he wasn't ready for that in 98.

As someone who is a generation ahead of you, I'd take that over having the Iron Sheik style camel clutch applied to me in middle school. They are completely different moves.

He was a good guy and better wrestler but lacked the It factor that Goldberg had. I agree he deserves abigger push.

I think Scott Hall was under utilized. He should have headlined. Was much better than the three. Deserved better than the mid card or US title.

He was a drunk and unreliable, that's why he never got "THE" push.

It wasn't even a camel clutch. It was a rear chin lock. Opponents were on all fours. It was absurd.

Steiner wasn’t sitting on a guy to make it completely legit but maybe he would have killed somebody if he did.

Hall always said he didn’t need it. He was top tier anyway. Maybe being champ would have killed him earlier.

Exhibit A

Exhibit B

That wasn’t a Steiner recliner in the second video. More like a standing rear choke (Abyss left breathless to quote the commentary) instead of bending your opponent backwards. Steiner was old and Abyss huge. I already put up pictures of the proper recliner, you crank your opponents chin and head backwards and bend their spine the wrong way, just like a camel clutch. The difference is that Sheik sat down on his opponents and Steiner didn’t. Steiners was weaker because of that.

I think it would have been beneficial.

Why did he leave WWF?

He regressed. He beat Michael's then loses. Then the gay Goldust angle and name tattoo. Creepy.

I think he nor Nash needed it but he could have been as big as Dwayne. Maybe bigger.

His demons got him.

All I'm saying is Steiner could've stole the Jackhammer or something similar and done all Goldberg could've of given the chance to run through the roster like a badass

And he wouldn't have ended Brets career...
