Yes. Pacheco improved over the course of those three fights. Kayla didn't.Pacheco got soundly beaten by Kayla twice, and Pacheco's win was razor close.

Nunes has had one flukey loss in the last decade.
Kayla got soundly beaten by Pacheco.
Nunes is the right side here.
At this point of Nunes's career, I think I like Harrison. I think she can get takedowns and get Nunes tired; maybe win by submission late in the fight.Who's gonna win buddeh?
Honestly don't watch WMMA enough to know

Interesting points. With the Harrison loss, even if the youngest kid was 2, that whole situation sounded like a ton of stress on all involved. I can't imagine she was able to focus on training in any real way during that time period. Honestly I didn't give two shits about Harrison until I learned more about that entire story. She's a hell of a lady; definitely earned my respect and made me a bit of a fan.Harrison is the rightful favorite.
Nunes had her "flukey" loss to Pena when she had a 14 month old. You're not sleeping for shit with a baby in the house. Even if your wife gets up and handles it, you're still getting woken up every night.
Harrison had a flukey loss to Pacheco (who she beat twice before) a year after she adopted her niece and nephew, the youngest being around 2. Won't presume to know her kids, but 2 year olds like to wake up in the middle of the night and go wake up mommy. So Mommy isn't sleeping for shit.
Harrison's kids are now 6 and 13 and she's a new champ with everything to prove. Nunes' kids are now 2 and 5 and she has nothing to prove and spent the last 2.5 years hanging out with her kids and presumably skipping holiday junk food and Xmas dinner so she can make weight during fight camp? Yeah fuck that.

I haven't heard anything but I too would like to see her back at ATT or somewhere with a lot of training partners. She needs somewhere that will knock that ring rust off and get her a lot of different looks from different styled opponents. I don't want her comfortable at all leading up to this fight if she is going to win it.Has there been any word on where Nunes is training for this fight? Before her last fight, she left ATT and started her own "Lioness Training Center" but only had a couple of training partners, it sounded like basically a private gym for her camps.
Not to say this methodology can't work, but in many many cases it does not, and doesnt serve the athlete to not have the accountability, different looks, and diversity of a full fledged mma gym.
I always describe my wife in the same way.Dunno bc Nunes hasn't been around for awhile & Kayla sucks standing.
If it's the same ol lioness then she fucks Kayla up standing & has the bjj to defend herself if it goes to the ground. Nunes also had TDD, but who knows if it's gonna be the same Amanda Nunes that we were used to seeing. Ring rust is real, on the wrong side of 30, & some mileage on her. Kayla got legit wrestling, cardio, & strength. idk.
