Article on the main page says Khabib will be ready for his first title defense by November or December. WTF?! So, now we have to wait another 7-8 months after just waiting almost 18 months for a defense that never happened? I guess we're in store for yet another interim belt.

he needed 6+ months and 300k camp to pull a decision on nate so 2 years to fight kabib sounds about right

no, he's fighting ferguson most likely. I don't trust mcgregor coming back. but if he comes, great, he can get mauled by khabib

I don't give a crap when he wants his next fight. He needs to defend the damn belt! I'm tired of these guys picking and choosing who they want to fight and where. Just fight! If you are a fighter, the venue shouldn't matter. The opponent shouldn't matter.

Why don't you become a champion fighter, and then you can go ahead and fight every month against every contender on a 1 fight win streak.

In real life, the opponent and the venue and the timing actually do matter very much. Sure it would be nice to see Khabib fight in Sept or Oct, but Nov/Dec isn't much after that... 2 title defenses per year is legit.

The problem with only fighting twice a year is that probably you miss one of them because of injury or some other bs, so then you only fight once a year.
