I got this book for my birthday long ago and applied some of the techniques and principles in no-gi after reading it:
saw a book by renzo gracie as well may check that and this out. BJJ seems like an art where reading could have the most benefit. Much more conscious vs subconscius compared to most arts.

Nice! I used to have his book grappling master and I used a lot of the moves to submit my friends. There were no BJJ schools so we had to just learn moves any way we could, then use them on each other.
how beginner? like white-blue belt beginner or just started rolling recently beginnerThis is awesome for beginners.
I would say someone a few weeks in. Its emphasis on understanding underlying principles rather than just step-by-step techniques is the most valuable thing for newbies.h

Though it sounds like it but I'm sure it can work for none cops as well. This is the one I had. Just grappling master without the club. I'm guessing the club one was for cops.
