Not sure If this is the right spot for it but have any of you read books about martial arts you were practicing and got ideas/improved from it?

I got this book for my birthday long ago and applied some of the techniques and principles in no-gi after reading it:

Nice! I used to have his book grappling master and I used a lot of the moves to submit my friends. There were no BJJ schools so we had to just learn moves any way we could, then use them on each other.
There's even a DVD of it.

The book is expensive but vid isn't.

This is the one I had. Just grappling master without the club. I'm guessing the club one was for cops.

Though it sounds like it but I'm sure it can work for none cops as well.

I wonder if the dog brothers use any of these techniques. I assume it you better leverage on some holds

Fedor's book had some things about escaping kimuras that I used in my training.
