Social Not so free to speak: Columbia University ‘refusing to help’ identify people for arrest – White House

I wasn't lying, he was being passive aggressive despite accusing me of it. Here's a definition of passive aggression

This post is classic passive aggression

In this post do you think he's actually admitting fault or is this not a passive aggressive comment where instead of addressing my claims directly he's instead using sarcasm to communicate his disapproval?

And hilarious of you to tell me to "drop it" as you spark up the argument again. I would much rather talk about the details of the case and the wider attack on free speech by the Trump regime but you and CHL are more worried about hurt feelings and keeping a hugbox atmosphere. We have the Mayberry for that, the War Room is for political discussions that might get heated.
I was just getting caught up. In case you haven't noticed, I'm typically late to the game. You guys spend your fucking lives on here lol.

What harm would revealing posts be? We're not talking confidential informants here most likely, and presumably the evidence either was public or required a warrant.

I have no idea. Again the courts will decide.

I think this particular topic hits home for him for obvious reasons. He's emotionally invested.
You guys are complaining that I'm being mean and I'm the emotionally invested one?

So how about take your own advice and "drop it"?

You can be mean to me. But the other dude was innocent. Just be honest, loser.
I was being honest though. I posted the definition of passive aggression and pointed to a post of his to make my point which you didn't address. Where was I wrong exactly? And why is this the hill you're going to die on? You guys Mayberry buds or something? And if you're going to complain about meanness how are you any better here when you call me a "loser"? That's not very nice is it?

He wasn't passive aggressive. Shame on you for attacking the only person in this thread to hit the heart of the issue. Anyway, we're off topic so I'm done. All the best.

Good riddance.

You may not agree with it, but I even learned that I, as a recent US citizen, can also have my citizenship rescinded if it is deemed that I align myself with terrorist organizations. When I applied for my green card and as well as my citizenship application I declared that I am not aligned with nor support any terror organizations. It is within their right to rescind ANY visa on that basis.

I don’t think you realise how stupid your position is because you can basically get kicked out for no reason at all now especially if they continue to ignore the courts

You think you’re safe because you don’t “support terrorism”? Lmao

If this is the standard now then you should watch what you say and do in every situation because you ain’t safe from even liking the wrong posts now

Theoretically you could even get kicked out for making a stupid post on here if someone made you look bad

Pretty sure that dude is "emotionally invested" in what flavor of pop tarts he eats for breakfast. Guy is unhinged.

Look at you guys complain about the very thing you guys are arguing for in this thread

crazy times

You mean the courts that the GOP and Trump are ignoring and trying to delegitimize. You have an awful lot of trust in a man with no care for civil rights and due process.

Sounds like you are trying to start with the definition if he finds a legal way to do what he said he would do.

You want to ignore his statement on fighting it out in court.

Trump may have already deported people in defiance of a court order when he was ordered to turn those places with Venezuelans around but didn't. In fact it seems he's defying the subsequent order to clarify whether or not he did so. Its possible we've already entered unprecedented territory here, that should worry you.

I appreciate you taking the time to respond but I think you're making the same mistake as others, this isn't my position, just my experience and what was explained to me. What I'm saying is not what I feel or my position on this subject matter, just sharing what I know. im not justifying the actions or holding anyone's hat. but for some reason you and others take my posts as justifying the situation.

They didn't get written notice of the order until the planes were in international waters where the judge has no authority. Hell they may even have landed before they receive written notice.

The judge can say anything he wants but written notice must be received before it can be enforced.

The planes were in international waters? Setting that aside, I know that's the excuses the Trump regime is citing but the judge is not buying it
At another point, Boasberg said it was "a heck of a stretch" for the Trump administration to argue that his oral order issued on Saturday to return the planes was not in effect because he had not repeated as much in the written order.
Not to mention it doesn't even apply to the third plane that took off
Those two planes landed in Honduras after the order hit the docket, and continued on to El Salvador.
A third deportation flight took off from a Texas airport after Boasberg's order hit the public docket.
Passive aggressive.
I think I was pretty clear there.

Anyway, any thoughts on the topic of the thread?

Yes, I'm glad the Hamas supporter is getting sent back to Syria. I don't particularly care for people who don't have the best interests of our country in mind. I'm not convinced you have our best interests in mind if you happen to support this guy. Are you a green card holder by the way? Or are you a citizen?

How is this lawless witch hunt any different from the internment of Japanese Americans?
