I'll take this as a serious question regardless of the validity of that. As a logic exercise, if you do not commit a crime, are accused of one, and you intervene to prevent said investigation into your supposed crime...that's obstruction of justice. Those investigating crimes don't allow meddling in their investigations regardless of that investigations conclusions.

I’m not sure how the federal statute is interpreted, and I’m not doing research, so I could be wrong here. In my State, the example you listed would be obstruction of justice. So I would think you’re probably right.

Really, I know that Mueller explicitly said there was no collusion, but what’s really important is what it didn’t say. It didn’t say that Trump isn’t a life long Russian agent, who was put in positions of power by the Kremlin throughout his life. This needs to be investigated.
