This is true. Two kids at my highschool got in a shootout over a hat and one killed the other. He then went to his cousin and his cousin hid the gun. The guy who killed the other kid got off on self defense, but the cousin got charged and convicted of obstruction of justice.

Just want to re-visit the statement :

This is pretty much exactly what I said Mueller would put in the report. Clearly they had nothing, but I knew they’d put in vague language at least hinting that Trump wasn’t completely innocent. No way, after all this, they wouldn’t. Hillary’s supporters will hang on to that quote like its 100% proof though.

This really is the biggest scandal in American political history. Everything from wiretapping a presidential candidate to the Russia investigation as revenge for Hillary losing. Good people like Kavanaugh being subjected to the dirtiest smear tactics. What a real embarrassment.

I believe the key is the use of the word "knowingly". I think Honorable Mueller couldn't tell if there was collusion beyond a reasonable doubt or if Trump and associates were just too damn stupid and were unknowing foreign agents. This is probably why no charges were filed. Hard to distinguish if they were corrupt or stupid.

The legal threshold to convict is very high. Particularly when a Prosecutor cannot compel the POTUS to answer questions or indict him.

But still they could not convict him, despite lots of evidence. They had to get him for tax crimes. That does not mean it was PROVEN he did not do mob crimes because they could not prosecute and convict him.

And that is clearly what Mueller (not Barr) says. And until we see how close Mueller got to thinking he had enough to indict and pursue this argument will remain partisan circle jerks.

I corrected your use of the word exoneration. You claimed it only applies when someone has been convicted of a crime. It does not, as a real dictionary says, so yes it was your error. Sorry that upsets you so much.

Maybe the fat lady hasn't sung yet. I'd like to see Trump out of office as soon as possible, because I think he's mentally and morally unfit for the job.
