A comedy channel showing a comedy fight, hilarious, a right 'fuck you' to David Haye who thought he could just turn up and name his price.
There were rumors of him streaming it live on youtube too before this was announced
You think he would have been an ATG? Even if he had beaten Cunningham, Huck, YPH, Drozd, and Adamek you think that would be enough?Sad thing is, had he stayed at CW, he would now be regarded as an ATG, rather than a walking, talking showman, who moonlights as a boxer.
looking back upon it I think you might just be right. Wins over those five would probably be enough to be ATG worthy or at least close to it. That's a very high quality line up of CWs. Even taking out, say, Huck, that's still a great lineup with a lot of diverse styles.I'm working on the sketchy theory (and mybe ATG is too grand) that after the Mormec and Enzo fights, and he'd remained dedicated, I'm not sure who could have beat him up to the present day. He beats G.Jones, Lebedev, and to be fair I'm not sure I can think of any CW since Haye moved up who I would be convinced beats him. Again conjecture, but a long reign at CW, would certainly have established him as far more than the joke he has sadly become. His speed and power was imo phenomenal at CW.
is there such a thing as CW ATG? anybody that good in CW did what Haye did and went to HW.
