Noche UFC card is the worst yet?

did you forget the thriller that was Tate vs Viera? or how about Calvillo vs Eye? or maybe Ladd vs Dumont?

plenty worse cards in recent memory

Strong cards?
Yeah...? I mean if you follow the sport closely, then yes. If you casually follow the sport, then probably not?

I love how people here try comparing cards to like 16 years ago when they were literally 16 years younger and obviously followed the UFC closer. How are you going to say last weekend was a bad card.

Here is your weekly worst card ever thread but tbh minus the main event this card is actually trash.

You literally watch Power Slap

Honestly Jean Silva vs Lopes is one of the fights I looked forward to all year. I get it isn't Islam vs Khamzat/Topuria or Jones/Aspinall tier, but it's top tier as far as highest ranked fighters who put on a show, like the best fight of contenders. Now maybe I'm wrong and we get a Ngannou/Lewis fight, but still this is right there. I certainly care more about it than Canelo/Crawford, I'm going to watch both.

Last two cards were Fight Night cards and before that was a stacked PPV.

Imavov vs Borralho, Walker vs Zhang (Sterling vs Ortega was the real main event, they just needed a Chinese guy to headline), DDP vs Khazmat.

"UFC On ESPN" are usually the Apex cards that have whatever fights, and the last one was good (Fluffy vs Dolidize). Two weeks before that was RDR vs Whittaker.

All the ones I mentioned had multiple fights on each under card that was intriguing.

The last 2 months have been good. If you think it sucks, then why are you even posting here or "watching" MMA? Get a hobby then.

Post a list of the top 10 cards worse than this. Show the receipts.

Not going to rank them 1-10 but quickly scanning back for worse cards.

1.UFC on ESPN: Taira vs. Park - Aug 2nd 2025
2. UFC Fight Night: Vettori vs. Dolidze 2 - March 15 2025
3. UFC Fight Night: Kape vs. Almabayev - March 3rd 2025
4. UFC Fight Night: Dern vs. Ribas 2 - January 11 2025
5. UFC on ESPN: Lemos vs. Jandiroba - July 20 2024
6. UFC on ESPN: Perez vs. Taira - June 15 2024
7. UFC Fight Night: Allen vs. Curtis 2 - April 6 2024
8. UFC Fight Night: Tuivasa vs. Tybura - March 16 2024
9. UFC on ESPN: Ribas vs. Namajunas - March 24, 2024
10. UFC Fight Night: Hermansson vs. Pyfer Feb 10 2024.

Honestly had about 5 more events in the 19 past months reviewed, that I'd say were worse at the time as well easily, but had fighters who were largely unproven at the time and have improved to where the cards getting the benefit of the doubt now that it wouldnt have before the event as well.

This is how Noche was that year too. Main and CO main were good, rest was complete ass.

It's pointless to even bitch about it. It's free on a Saturday afternoon and has a good main event. If you don't want to watch the rest of it then watch college football or whatever you would be doing if it wasn't airing. There will be fights that will provide some action and it should be a lively crowd.

cool main event. toss the rest in the furnace. kind of the UFC playbook these days

Compared to what the card was supposed to be, ya it isn't that good at all.

Lopes vs Silva gonna be a banger tho.

Main event is a great fight. Rest is meh. There have been worse cards, but this one is largely irrelevant.

Dana probably can't afford those beautiful Sphere Noche Chicas from last year in this Noche Tex-Mex version.

But I'll still be watching -- because that's what I do.

I'll be watching because I am always watching the cards on saturday but it's surely not the name recognition from last year. Sometimes it's the low expectectation cards that produce fireworks.

Main card looks pretty fun. Love that they buried WMMA

How the fuck is UFC 320 garbage? Man some ppl will literally bitch about anything

$85 to watch Joe Pyfer, Cory Sandhagen and Josh Emmitt. Nah,I'm good.
