I read the book before I saw the movie, and ended up hating the movie. Danny’s visions could hardly have been handled more poorly, and the fact that Jack was a victim was completely lost. I did like the later version, though.

I read the book before I saw the movie, and ended up hating the movie. Danny’s visions could hardly have been handled more poorly, and the fact that Jack was a victim was completely lost. I did like the later version, though.

The book was fantastic. I read it a couple years ago and felt like Kubrick screwed over King. I loved the film and still do but if I'd read the book first i'd have been really disappointed.
The tv film is so cheesy but it's entertaining and was truer to the story.

Listen, I can get why many sherbets are intimated by women in the ufc.

They have jobs. They have camps and people that care about them, and they don’t spend all day on the couch hoping to catch an errant nipple from day time programming.

Things that are unfamiliar are often uncomfortable and frightening.

But let’s be honest—though wmma may not be as exciting as some men’s fights, but to say all wmma is shit is disengenous and simply incorrect. Just as it would be to say we should scrap all men’s mma after one boring or shitty fight.

How many people here will support or sign my petition to keep men’s mma off main cards if there are more than 2 decisions tonight or 2 boring fights?
