The book was fantastic. I read it a couple years ago and felt like Kubrick screwed over King. I loved the film and still do but if I'd read the book first i'd have been really disappointed.
The tv film is so cheesy but it's entertaining and was truer to the story.

I suspect that movie is a large part of the reason King made sure he had control over his later films.

Listen, I can get why many sherbets are intimated by women in the ufc.

They have jobs. They have camps and people that care about them, and they don’t spend all day on the couch hoping to catch an errant nipple from day time programming.

Things that are unfamiliar are often uncomfortable and frightening.

But let’s be honest—though wmma may not be as exciting as some men’s fights, but to say all wmma is shit is disengenous and simply incorrect. Just as it would be to say we should scrap all men’s mma after one boring or shitty fight.

How many people here will support or sign my petition to keep men’s mma off main cards if there are more than 2 decisions tonight or 2 boring fights?

Come on fellas, put your money where your mouths are.

It's a shame though cause despite being a great writer, his films have been a mixed bunch.
It (original) had good moments
Salems lot was kinda the same but less corny
Cats eye was fantastic
Graveyard shift was decent
Creepshow was fantastic
Creepshow 2 was decent
Cujo was ok
Firestarter was decent
The stand was ok
Storm of the century was meh
The Mist was corny but great
Stand by me was a masterpiece
Misery was a masterpiece
The dark half was decent but not rewatchable
Needful things was good but boring
The cell was godawful
Room 1408 was ok
Tommyknockers was awful
Langloiers was awful
It (remake) had good moments but badly rushed, I wish they'd made it as limited series on netflix or amazon instead.
Sorry for the big list, had a few beers

It’s not women fighting that bothers me.

It’s bringing women into a mans sport.

Just like bringing women into anything, it changes it.

Right now it’s all good. But once you bring women in you are going to get more women fans.

Next thing you know, women who shouldn’t be joining Sherdog are joining Sherdog.

And instead of being a den of savagery it will become a haven of nancies and princesses.

So yeah, I prefer no wmma, and prefer men have a sport where they can still be men. Rough as they are.

We’re kinda derailing the thread, but whatever. In my opinion, you missed his best movie: The Shawshank Redemption. Probably one of my five favorite movies ever.

Sometimes it's best not to rewatch a childhood great.
Dumb n Dumber is still.fantastic but the Mask is hard to rewatch. Anyway, I don't want to derail. Enjoy the fights!
