Not that he's a heavily muscled guy but he weighs 145 pounds for a little while.. at 6 feet he'd be dead at his build.. probably a 5'9ish kind of guy.. beast grappler with sneaky stand up and an iron chin..

It's pretty obvious that Ortega is taller than 5'8. There are enough pictures of him standing next to Edgar, Moicano and Holloway to realize 5'8 can't be true and it baffles me that not even Dan Hardy in the Inside the Octagon show questioned the 5'8 figure of the UFC:

He was about an inch taller than Rogan when being interviewed. Ortega was barefoot(i think) and Rogan who is about 5'6 was wearing shoes which would push him up to 5'7 maybe.

He does look taller than he is because he is quite rangey with his limbs, but i'd say 5'8 is accurate.

You have it completely backwards my man. Ortega is actually 5'8" and everyone else is adding several inches to their height. No one purposefully shaves height off.

Usually they don't, no - but I do remember hearing a Chuck Liddell interview where he said he used to lie about his reach being shorter than it was, and then he'd try and surprise guys.

I'd say Ortega is 174-176 cm. So 5'8 and a half to 5'9 and a half.

I met Holloway a couple months ago. I'm 5"8 on a good day and I was towering over him so he's 5"6 at best. That puts Ortega at 5"5 or so

So Joe Rogan is 5"3

5'9" is supposedly average height for a man in the US, so calling 5'8" manlet is a bit of a reach.

We need a Sherdog standard for manlet, I vote 5'7" and below.
