I was not comparing Khamzat and Merab literally, nor was I addressing Khamzat's cherry-picking. I just answered the question. If khamzat is cherrypicking, surely Merab is. I fail to see the difference between either other than Merab fights more but the UFC chose all their opponents. No one has ever come out saying khamzat turned down a fight with someone because it never happened.
He will lose if he fights often enough. But as goes with these modern champs, they scream they will “kill everybody” and demand to fight basically every week.. but once they get the strap, good luck getting one fight a year.Barring some sort of out of the cage incident such as an injury or etc. there is no way he loses his belt to any other fighter in the division. Dricus stood the best possible chance and he got treated like an amateur. There isn’t a single fighter in the top 10 who poses any threat to Khamzat at all. Imavov will get ragdolled easily.
