Law No more nationwide injunctions from district judges

I think she deserves any and all blame she gets. She knows she's an idiot, she knows she's a DEI appointment, and she over-talks because she thinks she's untouchable because she's a black woman.

And the Supreme Court will rule on that case and I believe Trump will lose. It i believe will take a change to the constitution to do that.
Ok, but in the meanwhile you give the executive branch to violate basic citizens right.

You are basically saying that everything is permitted until the SCOTUS rules on it, which is ridiculous, if Biden issued an EO ordering the military to go house by house seizing guns and destroying them, should it wait until it reaches the SCOTUS?

Imagine suggesting Jackson was a "DEI" appointee while having one of the most decorated resumes of all the Justices pre-appointment, as opposed to the one Justice who actually is the least qualified on paper, never did any trial work, whom McConnell also had to break his own rule to Jam through.

Or any of the Justices who lied through their teeth to Congress about the importance of precedent and "the law of the land."

Or the two Justices who needed to clear sexual assault hearings, one of whom sobbed like a baby because beer. Lol

<36> <36>

Did someone say "lied through their teeth?"

You saying this about a cum laude Harvard law school graduate that has practiced law all her life while having Whisky Pete as your profile pic.
all while never taking a biology class.......impressive.

It absolutely is happening. The right wing CATO institute has confirmed it. Over 70 US Citizens deported and counting.

No there is a report bt the GAO that says 70 potential US citizens  may have been deported between 2015 and 2020.

^^^Potential citizens because ICE wasnt required to update final findings of citizenship for people it actually drported.

That same report said that ICE wrongly identified 2840 US citizens as potential deported between 2002 and 2017 and at least 214 were detained for some period of time

The short answer to this claim is that you would see citizens suing the govt for wrongful deportation if it had actually happened.

Edit: there was 1. Guy was mentally disabled and was sent to Mexico. Oh. And it was Bush's ICE that deported him in '08. Reforms were made in 2013 to prevent such mistakes.

That's part of it. This administration has also deported kids who are US Citizens with their undocumented parents without contacting Family in the US (even when the other parent is a citizen, that parent wasnt contacted). There have been a few cases of this. And the CATO report also exposed that the administration is not targeting convicted criminals or people with any criminal History, they're just profiling people. Which is why your pals have had to adopt the "anyone illegal is a criminal by default" argument even louder, neglecting the difference between a civil infraction and a criminal one.

Green card holders have been deported, citizens have been deported, veterans have been deported, people in processing have been deported, all in the name of the rampant xenophobia

So illegals have chosen to take their children with them instead of leaving them in the US?

That isn't exactly the same as the kid being deported.

And in the meantime, impacted people are just fucked?

No point in derailing the thread, but there is a reason the 2A wasn't found to be an individual right until a couple hundred years after the constitution was written.

It was 1844 before birthright citizenship was ruled to be a right for children of foreigners just passing through.

It takes time for issues to come up.

Bro why do you listen to these propagandists? These guys would sell out their own family if it meant honoring dear leader Trump. They flip flopped on everything as soon as Trump changes his mind. It’s mind boggling how these guys continue to have big followings.

The other justices, very eloquently, calling Jackson a drooling retard is extraordinary.

Which is why I've repeatedly pointed out, birthright citizenship for the children of immigrants have always been the default option in the US. To argue otherwise would be ahistorical since there wasn't even a good way to determine someone's citizenship up until modern times.

That's why injuctions aren't permanent.

The executive is the only branch with real effective power, which is why it also should be the branch with the most checks on it.

If the executive has free rein to do whatever until it reaches the SCOTUS then its an effective dictatorship for all decisions that can't be reversed.
"I'm sorry this awful thing happened to you, but fear not, the Supreme Court will get back to you next summer"

So unless you or your state sue over decisions made by the executive branch, you're shit out of luck until the Supreme Court maybe gets around to making a decision on it?

Seems like more and more power and less and less checks have been handed to the executive

...You realize the US of "full stop" in English goes back decades and centuries? It's not new.
This is the judiciary equivalent of Obama's brown suits, oh the uppity negro is using this phrase ignore the SCOTUS giving free reign for the executive to act outside bounds of law for as long as a case takes to reach the SCOTUS.
Imagine if any liberal justices were as much of a smartass and dick in their writing as Scalia was. Oh, the weeping andggnashing of teeth would be insane.

"Meanwhile, enjoy a no-trial prison sentence inside a scale replica of Dante's inferno."

All these losers have been mask off with the racism lately. None of these fucks should be this comfortable being like this. Sign of the times I guess. This and little Muhammad stuff coming from people in government. Man wtf is wrong with this country.
