No more Mattis soon.

Yea. Bolton is getting hard because we are removing Troops from Syria and Afghanistan

No he's getting that because when Dipshit appoints him the new SoD he'll get his China/Iran conflict he's wanted oh so much

Thank you Mr Cheney
It WILL happen. There was nothing preventing AQ from training and coming up with the "planes operation". In fact they were supported by those tribes.

Another Kaleid Sheik Muhammad will arise in that vacuum.

My brother and I were joking with eachother via text when this news hit.

We were making jokes like:

"Now that Trump openly defied the Military Industrial Complex, there's a 50/50 chance he gets impeached late tonight or early tomorrow morning."

President Trump is wanting to end the War.

Overnight the left becomes warhawks.

We live in some very interesting times, indeed.

Has the Turtle ever publicly gone against Trump like this since the election?

Did you joke about how he was openly supporting the military industrial complex by appointing Mattis in the first place?

No? Well I wonder what changed your m in and about Mattis.

This isn’t only about pulling troops out of Syria. Mattis’s letter makes it relatively clear that Trump’s deference to Russia is a problem.

As Commander in Chief, when you’ve lost Mattis, you’ve screwed up in a big way.

If only he could have defied the military industrial complex when signing an agreement to sell Saudi Arabia $350 billion in armaments over a decade. I think he may not actually be too concerned with the military industrial complex.

Also, file your post under “Shit Farmer Brown says, that never actually happened.”

Mattis is a war hawk shill

I actually made an Anti Trump thread when he bombed Syria.

But I'm not going to blindly attack him no matter what
And you are blindly going to support him no matter what!

The debt expanded by more than any politician in non-war, non-recession US fiscal history.

Markets crashing, indictments piling up, a Twitter President losing his grip, allies horrified, enemies celebrating, government in chaos, and Mattis quitting in protest. Setting foreign policy on Twitter without discussing with anyone. And its just the beginning of the unwinding.

Midterms - another 10% tax cut for middle class (instead of the first one that was for the 1%) ... all bullshit
- The invasion, need 6000 troops at border ... all bullshit

He is a know-nothing lying con man who doesn't know shit about anything.

So Trump is fixing the bad decisions of former politicians
Not because he's especially astute on foreign policy but because its a favorable campaign policy he marched on. Irregardless of that, I think it s a good decision because we'll never be able to truly end the issue in a manner that will see the problem there decided in a final manner so we might as well disengage with the them.

The world doesn't want us as their police so let the rest of them deal with it. I'm ruthless enough though to be of the mind that if the conflict reach our shores then their patch of sand is slagged to glass and we go about our business.

Trump knows more about ISIS than the generals do.

It's as if u do not even read the posts u comment on

That breaking point should not result in creating that which you're warning against.

So, he should just stay the course no matter what?
What is the point in which you're supposed to say enough is enough? It's not on Mattis to reign in the president. And he obviously found that he was no longer able to do that if he is resigning now.
Mattis staying the course only continues to give legitimacy to Trump's idiocy.

This is why we're supposed to have a system of checks and balances--it is up to the spineless Republican Senators and Congress to check Trump, not the guy that Trump hired.
