Why isn’t it weird?

First and foremost, I give her the respect that’s due. Extremely dominant for an extended period of time, regardless of the opponent quality. Everybody knew exactly what she’d do and still couldn’t stop her, until Holly and Amanda which just happened to be the anti-Rousey’s in terms of skill sets.

But outside of that, she was the epitome of a one-trick pony. What she did well, she was fantastic at. But outside of that, horrendous stand up. Her yes-men like her trainer, Rogan, White, etc made her believe that she was some sort of female Tyson and it wasn’t at all true. She paid dearly for it, with likely lost brain cells. When she finally lost in devastating fashion, she can’t accept the loss to the point of embarrassing herself and the UFC.


Why it’s shocking that she’s not a fighter, I’ll never understand.

You can argue that Holm is the anti-Rousey, but Nunes beat Rousey by virtue of being the first good fighter (by WMMA standards) that she actually faced.
