The pendulum always swings, it's the grass is greener on the other side mentality. I think more ignorance than good ideas from the younger on both sides. When politics stops being such a team sport and more boring, is when it will get better.

I think also it gives Shapiro more cover and distraction from the problem of sexual molesters of underage girls he now relentlessly defends them in everything else they do because he is such a cunning member of the intellectual dark web (moralizing everything Trump does), and also another war makes distraction from what Netanyahu is doing. From my experience as a parent of teenagers, he was THE draw getting people under 25 into the theater. Middle aged scifi fans aren't enough to carry the box office.
