Social Nick Fuentes is getting way too popular

He is the right's baby and now he's going rogue. The chickens are coming home to roost.
If he's such "the rights baby" then why is he being attacked by prominent figures on the right?

think a little bit here bud

We’ll see if it’s morbid curiosity or a real push into the mainstream, but it’s definitely freaking out gatekeepers like Shapiro and Levin.

But Charlie Kirk was a big deal. People not in tune or dismissive of right wing media personalities that thought he was “just a podcaster” and not a galvanizing and coalition organizing figure for right minded young people(men esp)/low prop voters really disqualify themselves from discussion.

I said that he was irreplaceable for the movement, but not that somebody wouldn’t rise up to fill that void in the media space.

Likely somebody with far more radical politics than Charlie. It’s not a coincidence Fuentes started making the biggest rounds of his career almost as soon as Charlie was murdered.

Unfortunately, Fuentes isn’t a nice mix of hard line and Christian conservative establishment like Kirk so there’s no way he’ll be a figure that unites a coalition like Kirk. And he doesn’t want to.

He wants to root out the Shapiro/Daily Wire influence and such but they are pretty important too. So he’s not going to be a positive for party politics, but I think his rise is legit and we’ll be seeing and hearing a lot about him

The right is trying to get one of their own in line. My point and @deviake 's point is that Nick is a product of the right. I'm not saying anything about the ins and outs of the situation, just pointing out what ecosystem he comes from. The left sure af didn't cultivate him.

Is he? I really only hear about him from people I already think are poor examples of humanity. Like there's a reason he's on Tucker and not Fox News. In fact there's a reason Tucker's not on Fox News and is also platforming Nick Fuentes. When even Fox isn't touching these 2 people anymore, do I really need to care about them?

You my friend are like me, getting old!!!! Fox News is for neo-con establishment relics of the past to prance on.

Two things to care about:
organized recruiting of young men on social media
Active Clubs
More on the latter.

They don't really need Carlson or Fox anymore. They have unregulated and unrelenting social media algorithms driving people to their content.

Conservatives surprised when building a political ideology on hate and dog whistles, greed, and ignorance produces hateful people. Oh, you thought you could control the hate and keep it limited to only the people YOU think should be in the outgroup? Doesn't work like that dudes. Nick says the quiet part out loud and goes a step further. Don't cry now. Fuentestein is your creation. You're responsible for this.

I mean, are we surprised the Neo-Nazi is gaining ground on the right? Why are we surprised about that?
What would you do to him if nobody would ever find out?
Would you hurt him? he's a "neo-nazi" after all, right? he's evil.
what would you do? you both seem like guys that would think about it.

I went down the Fuentes rabbit hole a bit recently and he's hilarious.

Talk shit about: LGBTQ+, women, brown people, black people, Muslims etc you are a healthy conservative.

Add one more minority to the group - Jewish people, you are a white supremacist.

Whoever came up with the Soros is funding left-wing groups trope would have been better off realizing someone like Fuentes is much more capable of hurting the right. The right is really good at using far left loons for propaganda purposes. But Fuentes can really hurt the mainstream right-wing grifter universe.

The media-sphere of the left is largely contained by folks who want to talk policy, or "go high when others go low". Of course Fuentes is the antithesis of this - he's called Matt Walsh a cuck for working for Ben Shapiro, Mark Levin every name in the book. Fuentes has given the grifters a taste of their own medicine through his own grift, and they do NOT like it at all.

All of a sudden Walsh and Shapiro etc are begging for cancel culture and censorship -- thus becoming the "woke snowflakes" they made a living deriding.

Wow, I can't believe censorship and bullying didn't work and instead made the person they tried to run out of society more appealing to internet edgelords. Nobody could have seen this coming.

The guy is basically the Hasan Piker of the right without the theatrics of electrocuting pets on his show and he speaks much better and didn't have the cushy start from wealthy family connections. They would line up in about the same spot on opposite ends of the political spectrum.

It was incredibly dumb to think they could just bully someone out of university and off the internet at like 18 and that would make them change their mind or go away. Dude was like a college freshman, so it's not like his ideas were set in stone at 18, it would have been easy enough to change his mind and round off his extreme positions, but they already didn't do that, so now you just get people watching him for the same reasons people want to read banned books. A million twitter followers is really not that many, but you do get more people who are curious about the banned guy than would have been if he was just some guy freely saying fringe crap and getting mocked for it.
My sentiments exactly. Streisand effect, basically.

Nobody cultivated him. He was a typical kid who was conservative who was joining republican groups. He didnt think white people should date black people, not that they can't, just his personal beliefs, and got blasted by the right and people he thought were his friends. The right, including the likes of Ben Shapiro (who btw was the biggest figure at the time) tried erasing him and publicly humiliating him. Continue on with the stupid identity politics, the right ignoring it, and telling white males they're lesser people, he is the natural reaction. We have an entire generation of males who are falling behind females in education and income. That same generation has been through BLM, 3rd and 4th wave feminism, while being told its their fault for the transgressions of their ancestors. Did you really think suppressing young men wasn't going to have a negative reaction? All the left did was push oppressor vs oppressed on these young males and they just channeled it into a focus outside of the original intent. The reason is because that ideology doesn't fucking work.

You don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

Tucker Carlson is bigger than Fox News. You can think whatever you want of them, but thinking they're irrelevant because they're not on a dying medium known as the MSM, is a pretty big blind spot. It ain't 2004 anymore. Carlson and the like have a far bigger reach than the MSM.

My thoughts exactly, this guy thinks making it onto fox news cable TV is what legitimizes a person? Holy boomers, batman.

Talk about outing yourself as over 50.

You can run but you can't hide. You guys love to shirk responsibility for racist assholes like this, but Nick thrived in the right-wing media ecosystem. That was his bread and butter. He appealed to that side, and it sold, obviously.

Why does this get to you so much? Truth hurt?

By what metric? He has 1M twitter followers, Hasan has 3M, Fuentes has 3M followers on twitch, Fuentes has 500k on rumble.

Hasan is allowed to bloom. Nick is the opposite. Hes banned from twitter only until recently and banned from every other big social media platforms. Hasan has no videos with anywhere near 20 million views
