Nick Diaz: 'UFC ain't gonna pay me'

Snackgod, the UFC still makes money from fight nights.

but he not get ppv points like main events of ppvs do. so there no bonus for someone like nick or nate to agree to fight on a fight night card.

Diaz balling out at the public pool..lol he probably thinks he owns it...

UFC doesn't pay anyone, its not just you Nick.

Anyone thinking Diaz is out of pocket for this is a fucking shill.

so the ufc paying the diva brothers millions to fight is a bad thing?

I don't think the UFC is the right place for Nick Diaz at this point. They aren't going to pay him the money he wants and the competition in the Top 10 are probably going to be too much for him. I'd like to see him fight over in some smaller orgs just to get a gauge of where he's at now. Might get him a better paycheck too.

it more like nick diaz knows his contract is so old it not worth fighting now a days.
I dunno about that, his last fight was vs Anderson and he made 500K. He's just completely delusional now. Nate is more popular than him now by a long shot, there's an entire generation of fans who've never seen him fight and don't really know who he is. Plus, reality is UFC don't need him. They have stars, business is good. He simply waited too long. shrug.

The only guys in the top 10 he'd have a chance against are Woodley and Maia. Usman, Burns, Colby would all annihilate him. It would be sad.

Give him a ranked guy to welcome him back, offer him $100K with a 600K win bonus...he should be good with that..

I rreally hope people understand what's going on( by now).

As for Nick ( and I used to love watching him fight )- you blew it- YOU BLEW IT !

That window was so wide open for such a long time for you to come in and snatch a big payday ( or 2) but I'm Nick Diaz and I'm going play the role of Nick Diaz......even though he hasnt won a fight in forever ( but he comes to fight and thats why the door WAS open to make that cheddar)

I mean when was there last a large influx of people on Sherdog, twitter wherever demanding to see Nick fight again?

It's been a few years.

Great natural fighter but wasted his prime on recreational drugs. No desire to see him fight

Maybe he could beat Condit but that's about it.

nick fight vs anderson was a ppv main event so nick made more money cause of ppv points and bonus that come with that. nick not coming back to main event a ppv so he wouldnt make anything close to that money.

i bet he wouldnt make more than 200k an nick is like fuck that it not worth it.

now a days nick and nate are more about being attention seeking divas than fighters.

Agreed. 100/100 is prob the most they'd pay him. Nate is a big star, and despite his inactivity he's still relevant. Nick isn't relevant.
Nick vs Condit or Lawler rematch could definitely be a fight night main event.

We knew this whole "comeback" thing would get sunk when they started talking money. No surprise to anyone. Sad fact is that Nick is most likely no longer worth the trouble of negotiating. Nate is absolutely worth the trouble, his PPV value is way beyond Nick.

the ufc has nothing to negoatie with nick. his contract was frozen when he retired what 10 years ago. so he be fighting off that deal an the diva brothers think there god gift to mma so they act like they should be paid conor money.

nick knows coming back for 100k is disrespectful that why every year there a post of someone saying nick coming back just to say the money wasnt right.

nate also cant cry about money when the conor fights made him 20-40 million an than he fights pettis for like 100k

he's worth 200k
that is me being very generous
the hardcore fans don't even care... I never missed shogun fight live since he debut and his pride fights the next day

now i catch the highlights of him tapping on twitter

To be fair, Nick fighting would draw a lot of watchers. The UFC should offer him a one fight deal, pay him what he wants and see what happens. If he loses, they end his contract and let him go on his way. If he wins, then they can renegotiate a new deal.

Nick vs Masvidal as a headliner would do a massive PPV number.
