Check his strava account. Pretty amazing cardio.

Eh, it's okay. But Nate Diaz stopped Conor Mcgregor in half that. Advantage Nate.

He can't run one mile at that reported 5k pace.
He's a decent triathlete at best.
No sub 15 5ker by a long shot.

There's no way in hell he did a 14 minute 5k. He's probably more in the 18-19 minute rage.

Jeeeez! I concider myself a pretty legit runner and my fastest 5k was 15:21...if you run you know that is blazing fast. Nick is a beast!

Now I feel especially slow because I run 9K in 42minutes. I don't even want to see what my fastest 5k is in my run.

That's impressive. I sprinted only a mile one time & afterwards I was puking my guts out... Then again that sprint took place after running & endurance training for about 2 hours before hand.

Man do miss being in shape. I doubt i can even run a mile now.

He could not break 20 for a 5k. His olympic runs are all over 47-48 minutes. Good swimmer. Decent biker. Average runner.

Here's a link to a 5 mile race Nick and Nate did in 2009, when they were much more active in triathlons:

Their 5 mile times were 34 and 35 minutes, which is a hell of a long ways from doing 5k in 14 minutes.

His best 10k on strava is 35:01. They are both GPS verified but probably there was a glitch. Wouldn't surprise me though considering he isn't fighting and could be putting all of his energy into Cardio.

I’m sure there are other race results out there that can verify his times if on knew the races he’s run, but there’s just no way I can believe he ran that time. That’s not just a good time, it’s blazing fast. I’ve watch races with professionals, both Kenyans and Americans, where the race winner wasn’t near that fast. Granted, our terrain can be brutal, but I’m not buying a 14 minute 5k.
