It seems insane for me to do this and I can't say it is ever justified.

Some parents probably do this kind of stuff over weed but if Nate Diaz signs off on you to get drugged and kidnapped to Mexico that is gonna be as close to justifiable as it gets.
Here is a sentence I didn't expect to say when I woke up this morning...

Uh..

Doesnt the subject being drugged, kidnapped and detained against his will, somewhat imply that that he is not in fact fully consenting to this scenario?

Honestly if you love someone enough this is a last resort before you know they are going to die. The kidnapping thing is crazy though. Probably won’t get any results doing it the way the cousin did it, not the right move.

I wonder what drugs Nick does lol. Obviously he was addicted to partying and alcohol but I wonder if he’s graduated to meth and heroin

Normally you can only hold someone against their consent if there is mental illness or crime involved (court ordered). Nick seems kinda crazy to me but still doesn’t seem like the right approach

If anyone thought the Diaz boys would fade away after MMA, I guess not. First Nate's misadventures in Thailand, now this. Sheesh. I hope he straightens out...if this is true.

Weed doesn't make u start hiding on the side of buildings trying to start fires and shit or whatever he got caught doing a year or so ago. He's on some hard shit. He needs real super serious help.

Sounds like a straight to DVD movie.... do they also have an underground fight league?

It could be a campy but crazy movie involving a prison fight club, Mexican cartels and Chechens who end up south of the U.S. border trying to find Nate.

I mean alcohol addiction is really bad but yeah safe to say he’s on hard drugs

Eh, seems like a natural mid-chapter of his life.

Even in the best scenarios rehab has a VERY low success rate.

This is some half baked crackhead ass bullshit.

Didn't know about that. Sounds like the stuff Mayhem was doing. Glad he finally straightened out.

Edit: looked it up and now I vaguely remember it. Mayhem actually offered to help Nick after the incident.

Are people here really supporting a drugging, kidnapping and imprisoning of someone in a foreign country in the name of them getting straight? Nick is not 14 years old. Locking a grown man up will only get him to pretend he is getting straight to get out of there. Pretty whacky to imply that is a legit or effective way to get someone straight.

The story sounds fishy; I don't know that I buy it.

Maybe if true, he will do rehab with Phil Baroni?

I wonder if it's true as well. There have been some crazy MMA rumors that turned out to be hoaxes. About 15 years ago, there was a report of Kimo Leopoldo dying of a heart attack or overdose or something...turned out to be fake news.

Baroni wishes he was on in rehab. I wonder if some combination of CTE, roid rage and/or hard drugs got to him. I mean murdering his girlfriend in one of the last places you want to be locked up...
