NIck will quit again, leave the cage swearing and his fans will find it great again.

Nick will be 41 years old and hasn't won a fight in 13 years.

Professional fighters have turned pro, had a full career and retired in the time since Nick last won.

If you follow Diaz on instagram its obvious he's in decent cardio shape and training, as opposed to having a belly flopping over his short against Lawler.

Fighter another retiring legend like Robbie was a tough fight but still at least reasonable. Booking him with Luque is pretty terrible match making. Luque is past his prime but is still a UFC caliber fighter and probably beats most fighters outside the top 10.

Really hope this is Nick's last fight.

He didn't leave the cage swearing, he gave an in-cage interview where he was chilled out and humble and he thanked and congratulated Robbie.

Nick needed neck surgery and the paycheck, so he went in and took his beating for it. He didn't belong in there, we all saw how Nick fought when he was appropriately aged for fighting, he's not a 'quitter.'

He's had successful neck surgery and he's lean and in shape, but at 41 years old he shouldn't be fighting Luque. This is bad match making.

Not as washed as Nick and he’s stayed active. Nick quit because he gassed himself out within a round. He used to have the best cardio at one point

I remember him quitting when a punch busted his nose not because he was necessarily gassed but I also haven’t watched that fight since it happened.

Well.. Luque is completely washed out so this is not so bad for Nick.

Still Luque via UD.
Lawler was completely washed too, but Nick is another level of completely washed that even completely washed fighters make him look like he doesn’t belong.

Luque has been Losing a few lately, but at least he’s a full-time fighter who has actually been active against solid opponents and beat RDA less that a year ago.

I don’t think Nick compete.

I would laugh my ass off if Nick comes completely out of shape and overweight again and they either cancel the fight on move it one division up.

I think Nick will show up in much better shape than last time and put in a good performance. Whether it'll be enough though, who knows. In the Lawler fight he clearly still had the savvy, but the conditioning was missing. Yeh his conditioning will decline with age (esp when partying a lot), but I his conditioning last time will be viewed as an anomaly after the Luque fight.
