Yeah, that's what I said. Stars choke job wasn't even close to the shit the Leafs pulled.

Not as bad as a team getting shut out at home in game 7 though. Epic choke.

Ahhhh ok, gotcha. Fuck me, I'm tired. 0 reading comprehension whatsoever.

Blues won three close games and I think they all went to a shootout or at least overtime. Hawks destroyed the Blues in the final two games.

Blues haven't won in Chicago in regulation since 2010. Blues were coming off an epic collapse and couldn't score. Hawks should have swept the series if they weren't playing like idiots in the first two games.

There's a reason everyone picked Chicago to win the series.

I had picked the Hawks, only because they were the defending champs.

I don't think the Blues need to make any significant changes, maybe a coach and a few role players - I look at my Avs who are basically the same as the 29th place team last year for an example of what a few small changes can do.

If they don't sign Miller I think they are worse off.

I'm just glad the Avs were able to win the division so they got to play the Wild instead of the Hawks (not to take anything away from the Wild). That was going to be a tough series for anyone to win. It's not like the Hawks were that far back in the season, a difference of 4 points over 82 games is nothing. I never really considered them the underdog in that series. Tough to get mached up against a team like the Hawks when you finished the regular season with 111 points.

The Blues are made up of role players that fold under any type of pressure. Their not set up like the Avs at all.

Big changes coming, imo.

I think Shattenkirk is exactly what the Oilers need.

I think the Oilers and Blues are two teams that need to make moves for no other reason than to shake things up. Blues have too many soft defensemen and talentless forwards. Oilers essentially have the same player throughout their lineup. Both teams win, imo.

Versteeg is gonna get the stalberg treatment from Q. Possibly Oduya as well.

Shattenkirk for the third pick and a non taylor hall forward works for both imo. Should be kept as an option for draft day if Buffalo or Florida take Ekblad.

Wouldnt do it before though, Floridas shown they will take a forward if thats what they feel they need, rankings be damned.Buffalo needs everything so they may take a forward too.

Lol if they make that trade and Ekblad falls like Jones did.

I got a bad feeling sharks lose series. Vlassic is probably most irreplaceable guy on team.

Sharks better not choke their series away. Not sure I can handle an entire series with the kings.

Ive already accepted the Sharks lost the series.

Really getting the feeling that this B's/Habs series wont start until Saturday night.

I guess my jimmies can remain unrustled for 5 more days

Benched in the playoffs. Versteeg already got it actually. He didnt publicly call him out to play better though.

I thought Versteeg played decent the first three games of the series. Oduya had a rough series at times.

The awful thing is, Vlasic is out tonight. If there is a player in the lineup that is irreplaceable, it is Vlasic. heir defensive depth is meh. Irwin needs to learn to give and take a check without falling over, although he does have a nice booming point shot.

Vlasic is integral to the Sharks transition game and PK. He is Lidstrom-lite. He does not sow up on the scoreboard as often, but he is the best defensive Dman in the league and amazing at transition and possession.

The Sharks could have lost any forward and their depth would more than cover the hole.

Losing Vlasic means more minutes go to Boyle, Stuart and Hannan, which can be catastrophic in our own end.

The sad thing is, Braun is the next best defensive Dman. Demers can be good with those long passes, but he often has brain farts.

On the bright side, Stalock is starting tonight

Been saying this. If a foward goes down Havlat can jump in and it's not that big of a dropoff. Vlassic is far and away the best Dman, him being out is huge. Fuck Stoll for a cheap shot, and the NHL for not giving a shit
