Ngannou is officially done

Pretty sure that Francis will be fine. He can go to any org with no restrictions and make decent money. He is still the true UFC HW champion.
 
Bottom line is that he's not a draw, and probably makes promoters nervous now. Wherever he lands, he'll make peanuts compared to what he was offered in the UFC.

Classic case of a guy buying into his own hype.

Those are Francis own words. He turned down a fucking massive offer. I think it could be a big mistake on his part. What contracts, btw? Are you legally allowed to attain fighters contracts and view them yourself?

If not, then how do you know they're shit?

That being said, IMO he made a mistake, I just don’t see him getting the huge one off payday he sought. I wouldn’t be surprised if he signs with another MMA organization for an unspecified amount in the contract.
 
He will be fine, he is only done in the minds of UFC shills, he has plenty of fights, he can go to japan and be the king of can crushing and make a lot of money without injuring himself and be a celeb over there.

Where? No other MMA organization is anywhere close to profitable or has anyone close to matchup with him. Even within UFC the number of guys that can legitimately compete against a legit 250lbs+ guy like him are very few and he never sold a fight anyway. Ngannou's market is small.

He has the look to be great and make tons for money in WWE but for the same reason he didn't work in UFC and won't get a top HW boxing opponent he won't make it there either. No personality or even effort to work for anything.

Francis is not a draw not many people know who he is outside of the UFC and diehard MMA fans.

Bullshit he was. You were conned. He never mentioned that healthcare, advocacy bullshit until after the UFC told him to take a hike.

I think he messed up in terms of timing his leave. He should have started talking to people on the low before he left. The professional boxers sort of don't need him and he is too scary for celebrity boxing.

Man he really did drop the ball if he ends up getting stonewalled into a boxing deal that could take months. Losing this time in his prime is more of a travesty than anything.
