Given Tyson Fury's "buckets of ice cream" diet, "binge watching Hannah Montana" training regimen, and "Big Gulp and Franzia" hydration system leading up to their fight, not beating him was a huge embarrassment for Ngannou.

The Anthony Joshua fight admittedly didn't say anything much about Ngannou as a fighter.

Well Fedor beat everyone when they were in their prime, Semmy, Coleman first time, Nogueira, Mirko, Hunt, Herring all these are peak or prime fighters. Frank Shamrock another guy that fought bigger stronger opponents in their prime there's many others Ngannou aint' one of them.

Those guys are all overrated. Pride rigged fights and people used steroids.

WTF the Joshua fight says everything about his boxing that he isn't at that level lol.
 
I don't understand how Overeem was "washed up" and a bad win. He's still the only guy to actually finish Pav in the UFC aside from Tom.. and Pav is/was considered a "top guy".

Semmy Schilt was multiple K1 world champion, Mark Coleman was a multiple UFC tournament champ as well as being Pride GP champ and olympic wrestler, the UFC HW currently doesn't have anyone that can even do a proper penetration shot outside of Blaydes.

As for Pride being rigged that's bullshit there have been Pride fighters that have mentioned how there were literally like 1 or 2 rigged matched the UFC at that time also had rigged matches Macias vs Oleg, Frye vs Hall etc, Fedor always tested negative in the U.S and elsewhere get over it the same can't be said for Jones, Silva, Werdum.

I think it says more about the current crop of fighters that aren't very good or train very hard when a guy whose career began in the 90's can beat them.
 
Put it this way the Pride guys from hw would destroy current hw class I have no doubt, hw currently is terrible.

Semmy is just a plethora of overrated PRIDE fighters, just like 40 year old Mark Coleman who got KTFo'ed in his prime by nobody Petey Williams.

Mirko another one dimensional striker. Then there is HMC who is a can at best, along with pro wrestling alumni the great giant Silva.

I'm 100% positive Fedor never touched PED's there is not one shred of evidence, there are also serious consequences to using them that's why there are bodybuilders and many other athletes dying in their 30's, Fedor is not a stupid man he never used and if he did it was when he was much younger, during his career no way and its also why he began taking losses and had a very natural decline.

Yeah I think you are confused. Semmy wasn't a K1 champion at the time he fought Fedor.

I like Coleman but he was a very old man when he fought Fedor. You can't be serious when you say Coleman is in his prime and calling Stipe 40+ when he wasn't even that age when he fought Francis.

Lol there are more scrambles in the 3rd round of the Fedor/CroCop fight than there have been in the last 10 UFC HW fights.

Why wouldn't Fedor use drugs? It's not against the rules. He's just, that nice of a guy... and so talented, he was able to be faster, stronger and out work the most gassed up fighters in MMA history.

Amazing.

Or maybe they were both on EPO. I'm 50/50
