i believe that claim since Gane doesn't seem like the type to go all out in sparring whereas Ngannou would. I could picture Gane going at 30% working on techniques while Ngannou is going 100% throwing bombs like he's fighting in a toughman boxing match. Come fight time, it's a different story.

So like, the biggest gap of skills from his mma jiu jitsu grappling to pure in a gi Bjj, and I was probably being a meathead to get the tap because I wanted to be able to say I subbed Pettis lol
