NFL NFL Rugby Team

Yep, sure have I get the game that is how I knew those I mentioned ould be good at it,

I don;t think you really get what kind of athlete it takes to play NFL football.

Cowboys runningback...

I've never doubted they're good athletes. But different sports require a slightly different type of athlete.

As I say, if you want to build a team, start with your running backs.

Well there we go, I am talking about athletes I am well aware of while you really don't know about most,

While at Azusa Pacific Christian Okoye (255pounds) threw stuff, the discus his best event and he ran a leg on their 4x1 team, a 255 pounder running 4x1.

Only football has all these cats who ALSO could............................

What about that aren't you getting?

Jackie Robinson the great baseball player, was a UCLA footballer and the NCAA long jump champ and played basketball.

The NFL is full of MULTI talented athletes, what other sport can say that?

Like I mentioned around 20ish athletes were Olympians AND NFLers, what other sport can say that?

QB RGIII was a great hurdler, QB Terry Bradshaw held the HS javelin throw record and it goes on and on..............

Back in the day it used to happen a lot before things got specialised. There are players who represented England in both soccer and cricket.

Would never happen nowadays obviously.

Dolphins RB De'Von Archane was a 10.14 sprinter the year he was drafted out of Texas A&M.

We still have multi talented athletes right now, the NCAA full of track/footballers,

Give me the name of any rugbyite/soccer cat who made it who did another sport, well?

A track/NHL crossover makes sense when one of the positions involves running fast and catching a ball. That's similar to sprinters also being good at hurdling.

Bottom line is most the WR/RB/DB ers, did do other things besides just football, while that isn't true in other sports.

Nobody is talking about the 300 pounders being great athletes, I get they are in a special situation.

Soccer, rugby cats play soccer and rugby

Chambers was around 180 pounds if that, all those I mentioned far bigger than that.

Yep, if a guy can play football at an NFL level chances are he can play rugby, it's not complex at all, a running wrestling match.

People always try to sell both rugby and soccer as a constant/full run, when it's not, those guys jog around a lot.

yes, it's not a full sprint, and they do jog around a lot, but opposed to the NFL where you don't even jog? you just play for 4 secs then literally stand around or sit on a bench sucking oxygen? i don't know bro, sounds like not so good cardio. plus you have to realize some of these guys are too musclebound to play Rugby. they are extremely explosive and fast but being the most explosive doesn't mean anything if you can't play passed 4 secs.

I played football and ran track, trust me rugby would be no problem and I'm sure most (no not the big guys or kickers) would have any problems at all with it.

It's not chess.

i mean, if it's no problem for the NFL guys to just win everything in Rugby, why are we even talking about it then? ironically, some of the kickers and a lot of the Polynesians who are mostly big guys, played Rugby before the NFL.
