Hey my friend, Deebo would have been an interesting option for sure, but I'm also not sure if he was the best fit for what the Packers WR room needs right now. He's not the monster among men that he used to be and put on some weight that wasn't clean, to say the least. I wouldn't have complained, but like I said there are more fitting targets out there. A 5th is almost nothing, but he comes with a cap hit of over 17m according to OTC.

What this trade tells us is that the market for cap casualities is as weak as expected (Gaire will probably net a 6th or so, if not straight up cut...) and the trade market for WRs is also usually not as strong as people think.

The commanders already paid it out for the upcoming season, and Deebos deal is really affordable. It's way under current WR1 market value. Deebo had a down season last year, but the 49ers did as whole, plus Turdy sucks. What Deebo on the packers does is gives you a WR1 who can also block and open up the run game from time to time.
 
I just plugged my phone into my comp for the first time in awhile and this pic from my explosive days (Halloween 2023) randomly came up. I pissed off ALOT of people with that move, it was awesome.

Dude seemed like he lost something. I love his versatility, but he looked really SLOW.

His issue was drops, and I think part of that was Turdy, the other part was the offense never had consistency throughout the year. He'll get 1k yards this year with @PUO3 s favorite QB throwing him the ball and its gonna look like a steal. Belee dat.

It's kind of pricey, but yeah, It's a good pairing. Can Deebo do those sweeps now? That's what made him dangerous. 1000 yds is a given, but I think he is far past his prime. That said, I'd love him is Silver and Black.

He just regressed cuz he sucks bro

I just hope he goes to a team that will fit his style of play and help him develop into what we know he can be. Even if it means he goes to the 49ers or Packers.

Hes met with the Raiders. I like him quite a bit with Kelly/Carroll. Thats a very good pairing for him imo.
