HOF voters for better or worse do not induct the best 5 players on the ballot. They factor in stuff like how long players have waited and position balance. The HOF nor HOF voters recognize the first ballot HOFer concept.

Yes writers and voters exercise their "power" in instances like this so it shouldn't matter. It does matter though in almost every sport. Baseball is different because of the steroid shit, but in every other sport a first ballot hall of famer has bragging rights.

Is it a thing in hockey? I don't watch the NHL only college I wouldn't know. I've never heard it discussed in basketball. Not even one time. Same goes for the various non team sports. Seems its only a football thing.

well, i won't be stuck with the chiefs this year but this is another superbowl involving the chiefs during my 7 year superbowl betting drought with one of my homeboys. it was my friends turn to pick the team this year and he stuck me with the 49ers.

i'm still pissed off that the chiefs are in it at all. every time they were, i've gotten screwed. this has been like the worst run ever for me. and alot of the times my team would be winning up until the 4th quarter and then some bullshit would happen and fuck me right over. i was raging mad last year when my shithawks shat all over the fucking field. i have the worst luck with this shit.

i dont know how i feel about my odds with san francisco here, but i hope they wear their rainbow jerseys with pride and go deep in the end zone. WAR 49'ERS!! THIS IS OUR YEAR!
