Lmr had 29 total TD's, GOAT Allen had 29 passing alone and 15 rushing. Threw for 700 more yards too. Allen worked with less talent on both sides of the ball. It's really not a debate.

Joe Thuney out for the SB. It was a long shot that he would be able to play but it always sucks losing an all-pro player. Allegretti should be good vs the run but he's a mauler and not a technician like Thuney. Interested to see what they do with Kadarius Toney. Nate Taylor- one of the better writers that covers the team and has a good pulse on the them- said that he thinks the only way Toney is active is if he returns punts. That's a hell of a boom or bust situation but I'd rather see that then him get snaps at WR.

And Jerick McKinnon is listed as questionable for the game...which I find weird because I don't know if they're going to activate him instead of Skyy Moore or Toney, or it's just a bluff so that the 49er's had to study more film. Hope he can go- even if it's for 5-10 snaps.

I think the interesting parts are:
Reid building a dynastic legacy after being a choke artist his whole life.
Mahomes chasing Brady. He has a long way to go, but he's on pace.
Kelce basically becoming the greatest TE ever, as far as receiving goes.

Shanahan overcoming 28-3 at long last.
Purdy cementing himself as a guy who gets it done. No Ravensesque implosions.
CMC becoming the hardest working RB to ever win Super Bowl MVP?

Other than that, it's pretty lame. Lot of feel good stories ground to dust in the gears of these two teams, but that's sports.

I think they just brought him back to be a solid route runner as he knows the playbook but with the injury and whatever else he's got going, he just hasn't been producing. Its a bummer as he really loves the team and culture but he ain't coming back next year lol.
